Well, "tie me to the railroad tracks" ... by Bee Sting

Americans Stand with Israel

We've all laughed at the cartoons of the villains who want to tie hapless damsels to the railroad tracks.  The villains are now referred to as someone or something that causes trouble, either in our personal life or in the public arena.  When someone is undergoing a serious  problem, the expression "tie me to the railroad tracks" is a way of allowing humor to help us deal with a sudden, oftentimes unexpected shock in our personal lives.  There is great truth in the proverb "Humor is the best medicine".

This blog was started two years ago, as a way for me to post news and commentaries that are usually not on the front pages of our liberal media.  For instance, normally the only news that is reported about Israel is negative, or a repeat of whatever our Administration wishes the American people to know and think about our allies, and that is one of the main reasons why there is a biased slant on Israel, which leads to more anti-Semitism, while the truth is hidden in some dark closet.  Whereas, when one broadens their scope of investigation, reads news directly out of the Middle East, it enables one to verify information (rather than be spoon-fed) and you will then have a clearer understanding of political agendas in the West vs. the reality of the Middle East, Arab "Springs", the goals of Islam towards Israel and the West, and that knowledge enables Americans to vote - not just their conscience, but vote with a clearer understanding of each of the candidates stance on foreign policies that can either hinder or ensure the safety of the United States of America.

Among conservative bloggers and those whom I have posted here, there is a wide range of information; some post mainly on the dangers of Islam and Sharia law within the United States; others post on America's education system's downfalls; some bloggers post on the criminal activities of our present administration, such as, "Fast and Furious", lack of border controls to protect America from the ongoing crossings of terrorists wishing to bring in dirty bombs to our backyards; and then  we have great bloggers who have the creative ability to post on any and all serious subjects with great humor!    That humor allows us to take our medicine, without having us think the only way out of the fine mess we're all in is by jumping off a bridge, or being tied to the railroad tracks.

Bloggers are just folks like you and me, and no matter what we're experiencing in our own personal life, the face you see is what we post daily.  Unless someone mentions what they are personally experiencing, or in desperation, requesting prayer, the readers do not know the background of any particular blogger and that is a good thing, for our blogs are not meant to be a "Dear Abby" column.    However, after saying that, this morning I must inform you, dear readers, that I am in the position of feeling like someone just "tied me to the railroad tracks", which is my way of explaining why there were no postings yesterday on this blog.  It is a great struggle for me to focus on the news of the day, while experiencing a whirlwind of turmoil within my own personal life.

Before desperation sinks in, I am asking my friends to remember me in prayer.  I need a "hero" and a miracle.  Unlike the "Mad Jewess" who asked for prayer for her health last week, my problem is not a health issue, but it is serious.

Americans Stand with Israel will continue to post news as long as I am able, but please bear with me if the postings are few until I see a "Light" at the end of the tunnel.  Until then, I want to tell everyone how wonderful it is to have the ability to speak and write in a country that has the greatest Constitution in the world!  Our freedoms and liberties should never be taken for granted; nor can we rest until we know with certainty that our leaders in Washington are on the same "page" as the founding fathers, and govern under the Constitution of the United States of America.  Our "foundation" is solid - not built on Socialist, Marxist, Islamic, Sharia laws.
