Iran has been on the back burner of this administration's priorities these past three years. It was far more important to admonish, rebuke, embarrass, and ridicule the State of Israel for building homes on her land, and of course, for being the cause of a lack of peace in the Middle East. Why else would Secretary of Defense, Panetta, shout to Israel "Get to the damn table!"
Of course, this administration has a short memory, no memory, or it has never paid close attention to the numerous offers of peace by Israel to those stubborn Arab "Palestinians" these past sixty years. Far better to remove all history relating to Israel and teach our own children all about Islam in the schools, so that our grandchildren will also believe the lies of Islam, rather than the truth recorded throughout history. We must erase all mention of the wars against Israel, by her "friendly" Arab Muslim neighbors. And, we don't want to be reminded that in spite of all odds against her, Israel managed to survive those attacks through a sheer will to survive, remembering "Never Again" means NEVER again!
But, all that is in the past and today, her Number One aggressor who wishes to wipe her off the map is, of course, Iran. Not a peep of support from this administration towards Israel, while the madman in Iran threatened to wipe Israel off the map! Not one word of support for our friend and ally!
Iran, the supplier of all terrorist organizations and leaders who teach their children to hate the Jews and all things Israeli; who draw maps of Israel, claiming the land to be entirely "Palestinian-owned". Iran, the same country that has supplied weapons to the Taliban/al-Qaeda terrorists responsible for killing U.S. troops in Pakistan/Afghanistan and Iraq for the past ten years. This president did not want to interfere with Iran during the uprising by Iran's own citizens, preferring to leave the "table" open for friendly discussions with insanity!
Better to make Israel the scapegoat of all the disturbances in the Middle East, then acknowledge and address the real characters responsible for the wars and "rumors" of wars throughout the Middle East. So, what changed recently - AFTER Israel was admonished to "Get to the damn table"? Did the Arab suddenly lay down their weapons and begin singing kumbaya? No - not a chance!!
Perhaps it was the threatening gestures by Iran towards the United States - you think? Or, perhaps because Iran's tentacles are spreading ever so closely to U.S. borders. (You know, the Mexican border where Hezibollah and other terrorists are crossing with their suitcases loaded with dirty bombs, etc. - the border our own Homeland Security claims is "safe").
Whatever the reason, there appears to be a stand-off between Iran and the U.S. in the Gulf of Homez since last week. And, in case you missed it, Iran promises to come back next month! Whoa! You mean the State of Israel is not quite the ongoing "threat" to peace this administration has made it out to be for the past three years?! Why, this may mean the clouds have broken up and a ray of light is shinning through the minds of America's leaders - where once was nothing but the lies and propaganda of those pesky Arab Palestinians.
So, now I bring you to the purpose of my mentioning Iran this morning.
