Scary Movies

Obama and his "scary" teleprompter advisers!

How many actually took the time to listen to The Great Pretender's State of the Union address last night?  

Some folks like scary movies, but I can't go beyond a Disney "Monster" movie with cartoon characters, or I'll have nightmares for weeks and I have to say, Obama has been a living, walking, talking nightmare for Americans these past three plus years!  It would have been kinder if someone pulled my finger nails out while chalk was screeching across a blackboard, then sacrifice one hour listening to the hypocrisy of Barack Hussein Obama.  Is there a "morning after" pill to get rid of the negative responses I have pent up inside me after listening to his sanctimoniousness, phony, speech in his most "I care for you" voice?!

I'll tell you what is scary: it's a President of the United States who repeats over and over again, that "if Congress won't do it, he will ...."!  Hasn't he  been doing since he took Office? 

Didn't he just ignore a Congress in session to appoint his "man", while claiming Congress was "not" in session?  On his way out the door for a fun-filled trip to Brazil, didn't he inform Congress that he had just sent troops to Libya - no discussion there - none whatsoever!  And despite Solyndra's bankruptcy to the tune of half a million dollar loss to the American taxpayer, he continues on his failed promotion of 'green" energy bankrupt companies.   He doesn't even think Americans should have a choice in purchasing light bulbs - have to go for those mercury filled expensive, hard to get rid of bulbs!  So, last night he gives a little pep talk on "energy", while killing the opportunity for jobs and energy with our neighbors to the north, and Keystone is off the table - end of discussion, while blaming Congress for his political move.

During the wind down of his speech, how about his hypocrisy when he dared mention our flag?  He closes, mentioning our great flag: "So it is with America. Each time I look at that flag, I'm reminded that our destiny is stitched together like those fifty stars and those 13 stripes."  His big fat zero logo has been a pet peeve of mine since his first campaign.  Here's a guy who refused to wear a flag pin, refused to place his hand over his heart to honor our flag, now trying to convince Americans that he is as patriotic as Uncle Sam.  (Photo: The in fact this was from Memorial day 2009.).  And yet, he has no problem bowing to Saudi kings, and Japanese emperors, while patting the Queen of England on the back like a "good ole buddy".   What a disgrace!  What a blot on America's history - unless we just blot him out of our books once he's gone from the White House. But, can't erase him completely, since that is exactly what he has tried to do with our history since he took Office.  I'm surprised he hasn't had an artist cover up a painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware and replacing Washington with some figure of a  "popular" Arab Muslim, or his most "trusted" friend in Turkey.

Obama, you are a very scary man!  

However, in racing through the Net this morning, there are writers who have pinned down his speech in much better terms then I can do ... so, the next few posts will be from others expressing their thoughts on last nights speech.  I'm sure I'll miss some, but a few of my favorites will be posted throughout the day.  

In closing, a note to all the GOP candidates: "When the heck are any of you planning to address the failures of this administration and stop acting like spoiled rotten kids, arguing over who has the most money, how you spent your money, where you bank your money and where you had dinner last night?!"  Your campaign ads should be focused on Obama, not on each other!  Wake up, or do us all a favor and hang it up!
