Israel Secretly Helps Unknown Country in Aerial Combat
An unidentified foreign country has awarded a large contract to Israel Aerospace Industries for an air combat training system.

An unidentified foreign country has awarded a multi-million dollar contract to Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) to supply an advanced air combat training system.
The EHUD Autonomous Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation ( AACMI) system, fitted on the tip of a jet fighter's wing, enables joint-training capabilities for air, ground and naval forces through live virtual simulations.
IAI said that under the $35 million contract, it will deliver the system's next-generation version, which incorporates state-of-the-art features such as wireless communication with aircraft avionic systems, new simulation concepts and enhanced processing power and data security, according to the statement.
The company did not disclose how many units were being sold to the unidentified country. IAI’s CEO Yitzchak Nissan said, "This program complies with the most demanding challenges of the modern live training arena. The ability to implement advanced technologies and create a rich virtual world, dramatically enhances the level of training while controlling mission safety requirements and reducing training costs."
