Obama Admin. Stonewalls on Immigrant Welfare Controversy

Four members of the Republican leadership of the Senate Budget Committee are furious with the Obama administration, claiming that both the Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are stalling in providing data on federal Visa approval for immigrants with a strong likelihood of government dependency.

The whole controversy got started when staffers noticed that the answer to a Q-and-A section on the website of the US Citizens and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency in regard to Visa approval suggested that people with a high probability of winding up on certain forms of public assistance were now being considered for Visa approval.

The four Republicans — Orrin Hatch, Chuck Grassley, Pat Roberts, and Jeff Sessions — fired off a letter asking for clarification in August both to State and DHS, because each have some form of oversight over Visas. Following a number of missed deadlines for response, the four sent out a press release on October 2, 2012.

“Basic annual data on visa applications is easily and readily producible. But yesterday, the Department of Homeland Security missed yet another deadline to provide this info as requested by four Senate committees. DHS, along with the State Department, has also refused to explain why departmental guidelines effectively waive the legal requirement that individuals are ineligible for entry into the United States if they are likely to become reliant on welfare,” said Jeff Sessions, Ranking Member of the Senate Budget Committee.

He continued, “Our initial assessment of State Department data on ‘public charge’ denials further indicates that eligibility standards are being waived. Given what we already know, and the otherwise inexplicable refusal for DHS to reply to such a simple inquiry, it necessarily suggests that the executive branch is trying to prevent the public from discovering its failure to follow U.S. immigration and welfare law.”

In early August, Senate Budget Committee staffers noticed that USCIS was using a new interpretation of something called a “public charge.” “Public charge” is a catch-all category of welfare programs. Visa approval is supposed to be done strictly to exclude anyone that has a chance of winding up on public welfare doles.

At issue was the answer to a question on the Q-and-A section of USCIS website. The answer to, “What publicly funded benefits may not be considered for public charge purposes?” seemed to indicate that things like food stamps were no longer considered public welfare benefits.

As such, people with a high probability of winding up on programs like food stamps might no longer be automatically denied Visas by USCIS. It was following this revelation that the four Republican members of the Senate Budget Committee — Sessions, Orrin Hatch, Pat Roberts, and Chuck Grassley — fired off a letter on August 6, 2012, asking for clarification from both DHS and Department of State. They wrote:
We write to express our concern with agencies’ interpretation of section 212 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) regarding inadmissible aliens. It was recently brought to our attention that the U.S. Department of Agriculture welfare programs.
It is our understanding that the materials distributed by the consular offices assure those being recruited that reliance on SNAP benefits, or food stamps, will not be taken into account when considering the merits of an application for a visa or adjustment of status.
Further review of Department of State and Department of Homeland Security protocols indicate that this policy applies to dozens of other welfare programs as well.“ Read the beginning of the letter.
So far, two deadlines set up by the four members of the Senate Budget Committee have been ignored by DHS and State. The second missed deadline on October 1, 2012 caused the most recent press release.

The presence of USCIS is itself disconcerting. USCIS, the DHS agency at the center of this storm, is normally an obscure agency in DHS. It has already been put in the spotlight because it’s been given a leading role in implementing the President’s very controversial deferred-action program (essentially administrative implementation of the DREAM Act, an amnesty program), first announced in the Rose Garden June 15, 2012.

The head of USCIS, Alejandro Mayorkas, appears to be a far-left ideologue who is also tied to one of the most controversial pardons by Bill Clinton at the end of his presidential term. He’s been head of USCIS since April 2009.

Mayorkas is no stranger to being in the middle of controversies. In August 2009, his deputies, acting on his orders, drafted a memo that seemed to suggest that the Obama administration would be implementing some form of comprehensive immigration reform internally through executive action. The title of this memo was “Administrative Alternatives to Comprehensive Immigration Reform.”

It listed all sorts of categories of potential illegal aliens and enumerated ways in which the Obama administration could act unilaterally and make them effectively legal. Included in this memo was the administrative amnesty Obama implemented in June 2012.

The USCIS was also the subject of an award-winning investigative series by the Daily, in which that publication exposed how pressure from higher ups was forcing the rubber stamping of thousands of Visa applications.

Mayorkas was a very successful bundler for President Obama in 2008, leading the way to his appointment to head USCIS.

Mayorkas also gained notoriety in the late 1990s, when as an Assistant United States Attorney, he found himself in the middle of the controversial commutation of Carlos Vignali. Vignali was a convicted drug dealer whose sentence was commuted in Clinton’s last days after only serving seven years of a fourteen-year sentence.

Mayorkas, as Assistant US Attorney, was one of those that recommended the commutation to President Clinton.

The House Committee of Government Reform cited Mayorkas, among several individuals, following an investigation of the pardon. The investigation found that Vignali’s dad, Horacio Vignali, had funneled several hundred thousand dollars to a number of California-area politicians prior to the pardon.

The four Republican members of the Senate Budget Committee believe that in their role as overseers as laid out in the Constitution they are entitled to an explanation. Christopher Bentley, a spokesperson for USCIS, said, “USCIS wasn’t able discuss the issues raised by the Senators.” The State Department has previously responded that they believed most of the questions fell under the purview of DHS. The Obama administration will likely continue this game of feigned ignorance until the public demands that it be held accountable.

IAF Interception of UAV in Israeli airspace - video

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was identified penetrating Israeli airspace this morning, and was intercepted by the IAF at approximately 10:00 AM.
IDF soldiers are currently searching the area where the drone was downed, in open areas in the northern Negev, to locate and identify the drone.

A few hours after two fighter jets shot down a small unmanned aircraft that penetrated Israeli airspace in the south Saturday morning, it is safe to say that an element operating in Lebanonunder the auspices of Iran and with its support, apparentlyHezbollah, activated the drone. The drone itself, which was downed in the south Mount Hebron area, was apparently made in Iran.

Operating a drone by remote control from such a long distance requires advanced capabilities, which Israel was not aware Hezbollah had acquired.

Hezbollah's drones have infiltrated Israeli airspace in the past, from the north, but their activation did not require any navigation system. The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that infiltrated Israel on Saturday did require such a system. The incident showed that the Air Force has the ability to detect and intercept drones at any stage of their flight.

The drone was apparently launched by Iran or one of its allies to test the IDF's detection and interception capabilities, and perhaps even to search for specific targets in south Israel. The drone apparently began its flight in Lebanon and then headed in the direction of Gaza's coastline after flying over the Mediterranean Sea. This route was chosen not only because it utilized the depth of the sea's airspace, but also because Israeli UAVs regularly hover above Gaza.

The drone's operators may have planned to take advantage of this fact in hopes of confusing Israel's detection and interception systems. However, the drone was detected while it was still flying over the Mediterranean Sea and was downed a half-hour later over the south Mount Hebron area after IAF jets made certain it was not carrying any explosives and that its main mission was intelligence gathering.

There is no doubt that the operation is indicative of a high level of sophistication of the drone's operators, who are apparently Hezbollah terrorists, and also of their plans to perhaps use similar Iranian-made aircraft in the future to destroy targets inside Israel. It is also clear that Hezbollah chose such a long route so that it would not be accused of sending the drone and risk Israeli retaliation.

In other words, Hezbollah tried to conceal the fact that it had sent the drone by selecting a long route that passed through the Mediterranean Sea. It wanted the drone to enter Israel near Gaza, perhaps in an attempt to place the blame on Hamas, which is currently considered hostile to elements that are loyal to Iran.

Hezbollah has launched drones into Israel a number of times in the past. Before the Second Lebanon War two Iranian-made "Abibal" drones successfully infiltrated Israel, and during the war itself Hezbollah sent drones through the sea, perhaps in an attempt to blow them up in Israeli communities. These attempts failed, and in at least one incident a drone launched by Hezbollah was shot down by an F-16 over the sea.

Iran recently announced that it had developed small unmanned aircraft and cruise missiles with a range of hundreds and maybe even thousands of kilometers. The drone that was intercepted earlier in the day may have been one of the new models manufactured by Iran. Syria is also capable of operating drones from a long distance.

As far as Israel is concerned, Saturday's incident calls for increased alertness and preparations to thwart such infiltration attempts in the future. If it turns out that the drone was Iranian and was launched by Iran or Hezbollah, Israel would have to consider its response to such a blatant violation of its airspace. In light of the successful interception and the explosive situation in the Middle East, Israel may decide to act with restraint and not respond at all. It will certainly want to avoid a massive response that may ignite the entire region.

Israel will also examine the possibility that the drone was supposed to take photographs of areas in south Israel.

Let's talk now about our real practical reality. As is well known, the American economy depends very much on oil. Saudi Arabia not only sits on 25 percent of the world's proven reserves, but Saudi oil, barrel per barrel, is the cheapest oil in the world to extract. Less than 24 hours after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the Saudis put on the market an extra nine million barrels of oil, going mostly to the United States

Joseph Sisco, a former Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern and South Asian Affairs, once told Israeli author Shmuel Katz, "I want to assure you, Mr. Katz, that if we were not getting full value for our money, you would not get a cent from us." American foreign policy-makers are pragmatists, not moralists. U.S. aid to Israel is animated by national self-interest — pious platitudes to the contrary notwithstanding. It practically means that Israel is, and has been, America's biggest strategic bargain — and Israel's ruling elites know this.

Let us put publically on the table what is moving from the U.S. to Israel:
For 2007, U.S. military grants to Israel were $2.34 billion and yet were scheduled to increase to $3.00BN in 2008.
The media does not tell you the following simple facts in figures:
Since Israel's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2008 was $195BN; total U.S. aid to Israel was only 1.5% of its GDP!!!!
Viewed over the five year period of 2004-2008 — total U.S. military aid was approximately $12BN.
What has the U.S. received from Israel in return?
Total exports from the U.S. to Israel between 2004 and 2008 were $58.6BN — almost five times twice the $12BN Israel received in U.S. aid during this period. The annual average of U.S. exports to Israel during this period was $11.7BN, more than five times the average American aid package!

Interestingly, Israel must spend about 74 percent of U.S. military aid in the United States, where it provides jobs for an estimated 50,000 American workingmen!!!

Unknown to the public, U.S. military aid to Israel creates a demand for, and the purchase of, tens of billions of dollars' worth of U.S. weaponry by Saudi Arabia and other Arab states.

U.S. grants to Israel — far from imposing a burden on the American tax payer — furthermore, actually enriches the American economy. It is well known by all American arms manufacturers. So do Senators and Representatives who represent states in which corporations such as Boeing, Lockheed, and General Dynamics are located. These elected officials, along with these corporations, have vested interests in opposing any sanctions against Israel if its government were to take a more independent and vigorous stand against the Palestinian Authority.

According to Gen. George Keegan, a former chief of U.S. Air Force Intelligence, between 1974 and 1990, Israeli aid to America was worth between $50-80BN in intelligence, research and development savings. Soviet weapons systems captured and transferred to the Pentagon, and testing Soviet military doctrines up to 1990 when the USSR collapsed. Senator Daniel Inouye put it this way: "The contribution made by Israeli intelligence to America is greater than that provided by all NATO countries combined."

More importantly, Israel's greatest gift to America's well-being and prosperity, a gift of incalculable value, exceeding by far all that Israel receives from the U.S. For Israel provides America with 25,000 high tech workers, 324 scientists, 902 doctors who studied medicine in Israel, 1,800 Israeli professors and lecturers, 171 high ranking military officers, and thousands of other professional people whose contribution to the American economy is priceless. Dr. Sisco knew whereof he spoke.

To the respected anonymous people wherever they come from, and what ever their religion/faith is, Jews, Christians, Muslims or Hindus, that are currently criticizing Israel - let me tell you - do not make a mistake, Israel is the Front Line of the Western World, Including USA, in the Meddle East. Therefore and consequently, if and when Israel will be damaged, the next will be America and Western countries.

Finally, I am not about to say one single bad word about Muslims. Millions of Muslims are fine people, and within the coming decades America and Europe will be invaded by Muslims from Asia and Africa without shooting one bullet. This is fine, but unfortunately the present US president must be aware that the world is not a one global village, certainly not yet. The day when people and nations stop fighting on energy, and I am not talking about oil energy, but positively share and exchang personal and global energy, the Masshich will be coming. Unfortunatlly, this is yet far away from our life and reality.

Let us all pray that this day will be coming, and soon. Amen.

Until that day - believe it or not, if Israel had not been established, the world community would have invented such a Golden Eggs producer.

UK Press Commission to Media: Stop Lying About Israel’s Capital

Israel won a rare media victory this week when the UK’s nongovernmental press regulator ruled that the Guardian was wrong to call Tel Aviv Israel’s capital. The ruling by the UK Press Complaints Commission, according to Honest Reporting, “set a precedent on British coverage of Israel, effectively barring all British publications from referring to Tel Aviv as Israel’s capital.”

The commission also did the Guardian, and the British press in general, a favor. Since Jerusalem is, in point of fact, Israel’s capital, and since a large part of Jerusalem is uncontested, the refusal to put embassies there or to refer to Jerusalem as the capital has always been an assault not only on the Jewish state’s sovereignty but also on basic logic. However, calling Tel Aviv the capital is inexplicable. Whatever Israel’s opponents think of Jerusalem, how could anyone possibly justify inventing a new capital for the Jewish state? No newspaper that refers to Tel Aviv as Israel’s capital could possibly retain any credibility. The Times of Israel reports:
In Monday’s decision, the PCC concluded that “the unequivocal statement that Tel Aviv is the capital of Israel had the potential to mislead readers and raised a breach of… the Editors’ Code of Practice.”
The editor’s code states that the press “must take care not to publish inaccurate, misleading or distorted information.”
The same article also pointed out the effect that making up the news can have on reporting in general: it can encourage other newspapers to make things up out of whole cloth as well. The paper notes a truly sad correction issued by theDaily Mail:
A Comment article on 23 August mistakenly suggested that Israel’s government was in Tel Aviv when it is, of course, in Jerusalem.
Of course. But you can almost begin to understand how such a mistake happens. If newspapers like the Guardian are unchallenged in their assertion that Israel’s capital is Tel Aviv, it would follow that they had done so because the buildings housing Israel’s government are in Tel Aviv. But they are not; they are in Jerusalem. Swindled by the Guardian, the Daily Mail invented government-related accommodations that didn’t exist, as if reporting on Israel is basically just playing a game of Sim City.

The Jewish people’s physical and spiritual connection to Jerusalem is such that it animates an overwhelming amount of Jewish ritual, from prayer to weddings to holiday traditions. As such, it’s easy to understand why Israel’s antagonists focus on the city. The denial of Jewish rights in Jerusalem takes many forms, including the Guardian’s shameful behavior.

After driving through the serene woodlands of Canada, Winston Churchill once turned to his son and said: “Fancy cutting down those beautiful trees we saw this afternoon to make pulp for those bloody newspapers, and calling it civilization.” Hard to argue with the sentiment while reading papers like the Guardian.

BREAKING: IDF: Unmanned aerial vehicle shot down in northern Negev

IDF spokesman says UAV spotted entering Israel's airspace from Mediterranean sea heading from West to East, and was shot down in open area by Israeli Air Force; defense minister says Israel takes "severe view" of the incident.

Aan unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crossed into Israel's airspace and flew over settlements and military bases in the Negev on Saturday morning, according to the IDF Spokesman's Office.

The unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down at around 10am in an open area in the northern Negev by the air force.

The IDF said the UAV was spotted entering Israeli airspace from the Mediterranean sea heading from West to East.

Contrary to Palestinian reports, it appears the UAV did not originate in the Gaza strip.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak praised the IDF and the air force for their quick and effective interception, adding that the incident occurred in an area south of Hebron.

"We take a severe view of the attempt to harm Israeli airspace, and we will consider our response," Barak said.

IDF ground forces collected the fragments of the UAV and have begun analyzing them.

Leadership is a trait known to many, learned by some and perfected by few. It is not something that can be inherited or passed on or even learned in a textbook. It’s about taking responsibility, and has to be earned on a daily basis.
John F. Kennedy perhaps described it best: “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”
Ronald Reagan praised Kennedy’s words of wisdom, adding his own: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”
In December 2009, at an Israel seminar I hosted on security challenges in a radically changing world, I was introduced to a leader bearing the same characteristics of both these great men. I was afforded the privilege of spending several days with Lt. Col. Allen West.
Along with 12 other delegates from Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe, the American military officer’s leadership qualities were instantly apparent.
While discussing the Middle East and Africa, where radicalism and terror has been as much a concern as the cost in human life is alarming, West presented his views on a more violent turbulence that “would surely sweep over Africa, the Middle East and spill off into Europe.” He said it was essential that America was strong on foreign policy because “any signs of weakness shown by the United States would trigger radical Muslim elements into an even more violent campaign.” How right he was, as we have seen the seasons change from an Arab Spring to an Arab storm of carnage and death.
During a visit to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem, West said he has a personal commitment to “not allow the mad ideology of Islamic totalitarianism to bring forth another holocaust.” He explained that those who fail to learn from history are doomed, citing as examples Iran’s dangerous nuclear weapons buildup and a Muslim Brotherhood waiting in the wings to achieve its radical ambitions through coercion and deception.
“Israel is envied by the world at large for their progress and success in building, educating and progressing amidst such great existential challenges on a daily basis,” West said. “However, there are those that refuse to learn as their envy is negative and dominated by hate and jealousy.”
West told me in a private discussion that, as a former military man, he knew a strong Israel Defense Forces would always be a guarantee for Israel’s existence and that it was essential that the United States have a backbone in aiding a friend and true ally at all times and on all global political platforms.
Today, while the world discusses, somewhat irresponsibly and in great detail, Israel’s decision whether or not to strike at Iran’s nuclear program to avert a human catastrophe, Egypt belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood and the clocks of history seem to have taken us back 45 years. Syria will no doubt lose more and more people to the horrors of terror, war and war crimes, and the threat of chemical weapons will certainly offer a daunting challenge for Israel’s decision-makers as the world watches lethargically.
As West said in December 2009, it is ironic that the same dilemmas faced by decision-makers in 1967 no doubt face decision-makers today.
Meir Amit, who headed Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency at the time of the 1967 Six-Day War, described the events leading up to that conflict, as told in transcripts of his meeting with the CIA station chief in Tel Aviv.
“The American CIA agent actually threatened Israel and did all in his power to prevent Israel from acting to forestall the threat to its very existence from Egypt and other Arab states that are ready and poised to strike,” the transcript says.
The lessons of the Six-Day War put into perspective our current dilemma about pre-empting Iran’s ability to threaten the Jewish state with extinction via nuclear weapons.
I can’t say whether or not Israel will go ahead and strike Iran, even if -- as was the case in 1967 -- it must happen over the United States’ objections.
What is certain today, and as West pointed out so clearly in 2009, “We must learn from history.”

House investigators warned Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to expect a hearing into their finding that that American staff at the U.S. Embassy in Libya had their request for additional security denied by Washington officials.
“Based on information provided to the Committee by individuals with direct knowledge of events in Libya, the attack that claimed the ambassador’s life was the latest in a long line of attacks on Western diplomats and officials in Libya in the months leading up to September 11, 2012,” House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and subcommittee chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, wrote Clinton today. They dismissed out-of-hand the suggestion that the attack ever could have been regarded as a spontaneous protest gone awry.
“In addition, multiple U.S. federal government officials have confirmed to the Committee that, prior to the September 11 attack, the U.S. mission in Libya made repeated requests for increased security in Benghazi,” Issa and Chaffetz added (my emphasis). “The mission in Libya, however, was denied these resources by officials in Washington.”
The committee noted 13 “security threats” in Benghazi, including an attempt to assassinate the British ambassador to Libya.

Takeaway: Multiple Israeli newspapers say the White House knew of threats on September 4th. The State Department issued a memo on the 6th stating that there were no credible threats. The consulate was attacked on the 11th. The State Department scrubbed that memo on the 12th. If we had actual journalists in this country, this would be an end-game scandal.

A mural which has appeared on a wall in the predominantly Muslim area of Brick Lane in East London, once a thriving Jewish community, is to be removed due to it resembling anti-Semitic propaganda from Nazi Germany.
The owner of the property on which the mural was painted on, Azmel Hussain, has defended the propaganda.

This sick mural is the epitome of Muslim hypocrisy, they demanded a curb on free speech and freedom of expression regarding the anti-Islam movie, when it is another group of people who are deeply and rightly offended at something that revives age old and dangerous propaganda, the Muslims simply could not give a damn.
The “artist” is called Mear One, he completed the disgusting painting last month in an area which is steeped in Jewish history.
Orthodox Jewish immigrants fleeing persecution in Tsarist Russia first settled in Brick Lane in the 1880s and the area remained a proud Jewish neighbourhood until the 1960s, it is now a Muslim dominated area and due to this there is not a Jewish family to be seen, which in itself, is a warning sign of what happens when Muslims begin to dominate an area.
We have already seen violent, pro-Palestine murals in the East End, so too see anti-Semitic murals follow is not surprising.
Local councillor and long-term resident Peter Golds has urged the police to pursue the inflammatory artist under race hate laws.
He said: ‘When I saw the mural I was shocked. It’s horribly similar to the propaganda used by the Third Reich in Nazi Germany. The money hoarding and hooked-nosed men is classic Nazi style propaganda’
Mear One asked supporters to ‘rally’ at the mural and stop any attempts to remove it.
Here is hoping that the council remove this sick propaganda and local Muslims do not interfere in its removal, as demanded by the artist.

When one's history is so vile and violent that tolerance would be impossible, change it! But how do you change a 14-century history if it has already occurred? Conceal it. Lie about it. Accuse others of being offensive if they utter something that discloses the truth, that any allusion to Islamic law and history is an insult and crime against their religion. Accuse the media of indignities if they expose abhorent Islamic behavior. Replace old textbooks with whitewashed Islamism.[1] Create films for PBS to spread the fallacious material. Usurp another's history and take their identity; lay claim to their prophets[2] and artifacts and rename areas to substantiate new myths. Promote, publicize, and train the youth to relinquish their lives in order to spread the word "for the greater good."
Muslims annex and destroy worship places[3] to validate their new myths. Their historical revisionism uses ideology, policy and strategy to completely refute any connection between the original people and their previous homeland, just as they destroyed and covered over the histories of Zoroastrians,[4] Buddhists,[5] Hindus,[6] and Coptic Christians,[7] and are now killing Christians[8] and burning churches to the ground in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, an increase of 309% from 2003 and 2010.
As Muslims work to eradicate the history of Israel and the Jewish people, they replace them with a myth of Palestinian antiquity. Despite volumes of scripture from Jewish, Christian, and Muslim sources, along with archaeological substantiation; ancient,[9] medieval and modern historical documentation that verify the Jewish connection[10] to Israel; Muslim leaders, enabled by Western antisemites of all stripes, have launched an offensive to deny Israel's legitimacy and existence. New Islamic myths hold that Judaism's Adom, Moses, Kings David and Solomon, and Christianity's Jesus were Muslim, thereby identifying Islam's conquest and occupation as "recapture and liberation of their lands." In their own words, the Muslim Brotherhood is engaged in a "grand Jihad" with the intention of "eliminating and destroying Western civilization[11] from within."
But how can the claims be realistic if their culture bears no resemblance whatsoever to the Law of Moses, the Torah,[12] or the teachings of Jesus?[13] Certainly, Judaism and Christianity do not demand the inhumanity torture, enslavement, amputation, decapitation, stoning that Islam exhorts!
As Islamists target the smaller prey, Israel, with the assistance of the larger prey, Western civilization, we remember Winston Churchill's words, "with the hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last," but eat you he will. Denying the past includes re-identifying and renaming areas (Judea and Samaria[14] as the West Bank); claiming Jerusalem as theirs (although Jerusalem is mentioned 792 times in the Hebrew bible[15] and only once In the Koran); adopting antiquities and Jewish[16] tombs as their own; and destroying all evidence of Jewish history[17], just as they did with the previous cultures.
Myth: The Palestinians are the indigenous people of the area.
Repudiation The terms Palestine, Philistia and Palestina all refer to defined areas inhabited by different peoples and cultures.[18] There was never a political entity with defined borders and national identity known as Palestine[19] until the British Mandatory Palestine, 1922. Arabs migrated[20] to the area for work; most of today's Arabs can trace their ancestry to 150 years ago. Zahir Muhsein[21] (1977) of the PLO said, "Today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people..." to oppose Zionism.
Myth: Palestinian people were the ancient non-Israelite peoples referenced in the Scriptures in the Holy Land.
Repudiation The non-Israelites were the Philistines, Moabites, Edomites, Ammonites, Amorites, Arameans, Amalekites, Midianites and Canaanites of ancient Canaan. "Palestinians"[22] did not exist in antiquity and there is no demonstrable connection between the Muslims of today and the ancient non-Israelite people of Canaan. The Israelites were the only ones to leave a record that survived into the modern era, and Egyptians and Mesopotamians left almost nothing.
Myth: Zionists invented ancient Israel history.
Repudiation Extra-Biblical evidence of Israel's existence is on the Mernephtah stele, a granite slab created circa 1200 BC, referring to the Egyptian King's victory over an Israelite people in north-central Israel highlands. Continued references to Israel and Judah[23] are seen in Assyrian, Babylonian, Aramaic and Persian texts from the 10th century BCE onward including Koranic references.[24]
Myth: The Temple Mount, holiest site in Judaism and claimed by Muslims to be the location on which Muhammad decended during his heavenly flight, never existed in Jerusalem and was Muslim from its origins.
Repudiation The Supreme Moslem Council published in 1925 that the Temple Mount dates back to the ancient Israelite kingdom, and is identified beyond dispute with the site of Solomon's Temple.[25] Sheikh Abdul Hadi Palazzi[26] says, that according to the Koran, it existed as a Jewish refuge at the conquest of Jerusalem by Titus, 70 AD.
Myth: Palestinian chief judge, Tayseer Tamimi, alleged that Israeli s are excavating and destroying the Al-Aqsa Mosque and injecting chemicals into its foundation to dissolve the rocks.
Repudiation The Islamic Waqf,[27] which exercises religious sovereignty over the Temple Mount, is carrying out destructive excavations beneath and alongside the Mount since the late 1990s, damaging archaeological artifacts in Solomon's Stables, including First Temple remains, transferring 13,000 tons of excavated material into the municipal garbage dump to erase every sign, remnant and memory of its Jewish past. In the Islamic Sunnah, Mohammed's first bow in prayer was directed at Jerusalem, but when he was rejected by the Jews, Mohammed changed the direction to Mecca, thereby nullifying any religious significance that Jeruslam might have had for Islam. Jerusalem's insignificance changed after Israel's victory in the 1967 Six-Day War. Other archaeological cleansing eradicated Hebrew inscriptions at the tomb of Ezekiel[28] and will include a new mosque; Rachel's tomb[29] in Hebron is now a mosque; Joseph's tomb[30] in Nablus was incinerated at the start of the Second Intifada.
Myth: PM Salam Fayyad of the Palestinian Authority declared The Dead Sea Scrolls Palestinian because they were found on territory over which Israel held no sovereignty, and were stolen by Israel during 1947-48; therefore, the scrolls are Palestinian de facto.
Repudiation The Dead Sea Scrolls[31] are 1000 years older than any Old Testament manuscripts ever found, dating back centuries before the Second Temple (70 BCE). Some have been identified as 19 copies of the Book of Isaiah, 25 copies of Deuteronomy, 30 copies of Psalms (including new ones attributed to King David and Joshua). The Palestinians did not exist before 1993 and therefore had no legal sovereignty over the Dead Sea region where the scrolls were found.
Myth: Another self-hating-Jewish collaborator, Karen Friedemann, falsifying history for the Khaleej Times, wrote that analysis of Jewish DNA indicates males were of Eastern Europe and non-Levantine Southwest Asian origin; females, of Eastern Europeans.
Repudiation Recent genetic research[32] shows Jews of Israel (except Ethiopians and Indians) trace back to Middle East origin; an NYU study links them to the Near East (Syria, Lebanon, Israel). Researchers from eight countries examined 600,000 genomic markers, and descendants of 14 Diaspora Jewish communities. The Palestinian assertions are thoroughly contradicted.
For their goal of genocide against Israel to work, they have to continue their lies and jihad to "regain" the land. They need to deconstruct Israel; disconnect Jews from Judaism, their homeland and their history; and continue with their fictional Palestinian lie, reflected in their Boycott-Divestment-Sanctions message of deceit, "End the Occupation." We must continue to refute them intensely and forcefully.
