Must Read! - On the burning of the Korans

On the burning of Korans
By  | Saturday, February 25th, 2012 | InternationalPolicy

On Thursday, TJ Conrad, the brother of my niece (by marriage), was murdered in Afghanistan by Muslims outraged over the inadvertent destruction by NATO officials of Korans that had been used by prisoners to transmit secret messages.  Within hours of TJ’s murder, President Obama issued a formal letter apologizing to the murderers.  As of this writing, Obama has not called TJ’s family to offer condolences, made any public statement in his honor, or called for the murderers to be brought to justice.
No person of conscience favors burning or defiling the holy scriptures of any religion, but only Muslims kill innocent people over the subject.  With that in mind, I have a few questions:
When the perpetrators of 9/11 crashed those planes, did they have Korans with them?
Were there any Korans in the World Trade Center when the Muslim terrorists destroyed it?
When Muslim terrorists blew up embassies around the world, were there Korans inside those embassies?
When Muslims blow up mosques of rival factions, are there Korans in those mosques?
And finally, why hasn’t anyone in the so-called “news” media asked any of these questions?

Radical Islam: "The cancer has metastasized world-wide"

Note:  For the past 5 days the news has centered around the Islamic terror in Afghanistan, spreading to Pakistan, about the USA's military burning a few Koran's that were confiscated from Muslim terrorists, prisoners of the U.S. Military.  Earlier today my son and his family visited and eventually, the topic came up about the disgusting apology made by President Obama, to the same Islamic terrorists our troops have been fighting for over ten years.  My daughter-in-law asked, "How did this all begin?  Why are there so many wars all over the world involving Muslims and why are we becoming involved in what seems to be every one of their uprisings?"
Now granted, grandmothers are suppose to be wise and able to answer the questions of our children, but her questions cannot be answered in "one-liners", nor can the history of Islam.  However, I received a few comments from a friend today, giving me his perspective on the ever-increasing cancer of Islam and I wish to share his thoughts with you this evening.  Here's my friend Larry's comments:

The Evil genie is out of the Bottle.
It all began in 1967 when the Israeli Forces reclaimed all of Jerusalem, but in a moment of weakness and misguided secular-Jewish largesse decided to allow the Muslim's Al Aksa Mosque to remain undisturbed on Temple Mount.

Temple Mount is a Spiritual Vortex, given to the Jewish Nation to safeguard by the Holy ONE, the Omnipotent Force of all Forces in the Universe, with strict instructions as to what is allowed and forbidden on this most Awesome and powerful Spiritual Powerplant on planet earth.
Since 1967 the cancer of Radical Islam has metastasized world-wide, threatening every civilization with physical and spiritual destruction. The 9-11 attacks, Islamic unrest and Sharia in Europe, everywhere Islam has a presence, the dread and unspeakable menace of two nuclear armed Islamic States, Pakistan and soon Iran just to name a very few nightmares. Is this a coincidence?

Is it a coincidence that all three major religions hold Jerusalem as sacred ground to be fought and died for? A coincidence that Jerusalem is never mentioned in Islam's holiest book, Koran? The truth is that nothing can stop this Cancer from spreading. Not Armed forces, Drone assassinations, Civil laws or security checkpoints. These are nothing but band-aids on soon-to-be terminal cancer. Unless...The Jewish Nation will do what should have been done in 1967. Remove the Al Aksa from Temple Mount. Restore the balance to the Spiritual Vortex as was intended by the Holy ONE. There Is No Other Way. Yes, it will be painful. The region and world will bleed with Muslim fury and world-violence. For a while. And then, the cancer will die as the Genie of Spiritual imbalance is returned to the Bottle.

There Is No Other Way. And Time Is Running Out.

US-led forces in Afghanistan(file photo)

As you look upon these few photos, can anyone still say we should apologize to Islam?  Or, use that old Obama ideology that "if only" Israel would appease the Palestinians, there would be peace in the Middle East".  Did the US military incite the Muslims to attack America on 9/11?  Those 19 Muslims on 9/11 did not need an excuse to strike Americans and murder almost 3,000 of our citizens in less than two hours.  New York City is not Jerusalem and the War on Terror, which began in the mountains of Afghanistan shortly after 9/11 was to go after Radical Islamists in an effort to protect America's safety and security.

However, as our troops left Iraq, and are preparing to draw down from Afghanistan, the very Muslims we've trained, are murdering our troops and the weak-kneed Commander-in-Chief chooses to apologize to Islam.  With that apology, he should have just called our troops home, for what he did has now placed American soldiers in harm's way, without the full support of our leaders in Washington.

I believe, like Larry, that what is happening throughout the world is "no coincidence".

It is true, Islam does wish to wipe Israel off the map, but the fight is not Israel's alone - it is our fight and that of all non-Muslim countries to protect and put an end once and for all to this on-going, never-ending war with Islam.  It is also our fight to elect leaders who refuse to appease Islam's ideology.  ... Are you listening, Barry?!

Video: Obama's big fat "O" - "Branding an ideology with an Icon"

Uploaded by  on Aug 17, 2009
Barack Obama ran an unprecedented Presidential campaign - utilizing the power of design to help secure the seat of the President of the United States of America. However, his iconic emblem, the ever present "O", holds more power than even Obama knows. Bill Whittle points out the dangers of branding an ideology with an icon and how, perhaps, the powerful symbol will be used against the very man it built up. - http://www.pjtv.com

With No Apologies, Try this one: Virtual Koran burning!

Korans burned: 237,493

BURN THE KORAN

Why are we doing this? We're doing this for several reasons:
To call attention to Radical Muslims who threaten people with death for burning or disrespecting their so-called "Holy Book".To show Radical Muslims that they cannot control people all over the world just because they hold a particular set of beliefs. To show Radical Muslims that non-Muslims are NOT bound by any Muslim law, scripture, or rule.In short, we are not Muslims. We are NOT subject to Islamic laws.
But you'll offend Muslims all over the world!  Yes, we know that. What's your point?

Isn't it wrong to offend people (Muslims) like this?  Isn't it wrong to threaten people with death for burning a book?

Do you have any pictures or cartoons of Mohammed on this site?  No. You're probably thinking of "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day". We heartily endorse Draw Mohammed Day and we hope you participate. But hey, why don't you burn a few Korans first?

Is this site a joke?  Absolutely not. This site is our way of making a personal, heartfelt statement that NO group should dictate to or control the actions of other individuals, and especially not a group whose beliefs are based on the scribblings of a murdeous, pedophile madman like Mohammed. Believe whatever you want, but DON'T try to impose your rules or beliefs on others, and certainly not by force or threat of death or bodily harm.

Do you really download a new copy of the Koran each time?  Yup, we sure do. Korans are downloaded from one or more of the following sites: http://islamway.com/SF/quran/, http://qurandownload.com/, http://islamtomorrow.com/free/, http://mideastweb.org/quran.htm, and others.

What do Muslims think about this site? We don't know, and we don't care. (Actually, we'd guess that they don't like it much, but we still don't care.)

What if we were to make fun of your beliefs? Feel free. We believe in science and knowledge, and you're welcome to make as much fun of them as you like.

Total Visits: 892,569

NOTE:
And, why am I doing this?  To show my support for all America's military, while their "Commander-in-Chief" apologizes to Islam for a few Korans mistakenly burned - Korans that were being used by terrorist detainees to communicate to one another. With each apology, Obama has managed to send the Muslims into a fit of rage, the murder of two of our soldiers, and the deaths of many more these past 5 days!

Excuse me ... while I burn another Koran!

Afghans riot over accidentally burned Qurans
Afghans riot over accidentally burned Qurans
News item:
U.S. President Barack Obama has apologized to Afghans for the burning of Qurans at a U.S. military base, trying to assuage rising anti-American sentiment as an Afghan soldier gunned down two American troops during another day of angry protests.
The U.S.-led military coalition says the Muslim holy books were sent by mistake to a garbage burn pit at Bagram Air Field and the case is under investigation. The explanation and multiple apologies from U.S. officials have yet to calm outrage over the incident, which has also heightened tension between international troops and their Afghan partners.
On Thursday, thousands of protesters, some shouting “Long live Islam!” and “Death to America!” staged demonstrations across Afghanistan for a third day. Protesters climbed the walls of a U.S. base in the east, threw stones inside and adorned an outside wall with the Taliban’s trademark white flag.
Let’s get a grip. The President of the United States apologized to a bunch of 7th century tribesmen who are shooting our soldiers because someone accidentally burned their holy book?

Does that make you feel like we are a great power or what?
With all of the cultural sensitivity training that our officers and troops are undergoing, how did they leave out the fact that their objective is to humiliate their enemies, and that the more we grovel, the more they succeed? And the more they are encouraged?

How much study of the Pashtun (and a great deal of other Muslim) culture does it take for us to understand that weakness invites attack, and apologies, offers of compromise, payoffs, etc. are signs of weakness?

They may be primitive, but they aren’t stupid and they are good tacticians. They understand that our idiotic need to be sensitive to their culture is a weak spot, and they are concentrating their forces there, as good tacticians do. What we need to do is explain to them in words and deeds that our culture is superior to theirs, because we can kill them much more effectively if we want to than they can kill us. And because we have a superior (that is, more deadly and terrifying) nature than they do, we can bloody well burn any books that we want.

I am not saying that this is my definition of a superior culture. Our culture is superior in many other, more subtle, ways, but they don’t care about these.
They don’t appreciate Christian magnanimity or Jewish compromises. These breed contempt, not admiration. The bottom line for most of the Middle East is power, and the ruthless application thereof.

President Obama seems to want the US to be liked, particularly by Muslims. This is not achievable, and the result of his attempts to bring it about make him a fool that is easily manipulated. Compare Obama’s reputation to that of, say, Vladimir Putin.

This same mistake s being made on different levels in our relations with Iran, Turkey, Egypt and probably other places.  In the Middle East, it’s not just more effective to be feared than to be liked — it’s essential.

Note:
With the outrage over President Obama's ignorant apology (again!) to Islam, do you think perhaps Americans are fed up with Obama and his nasty, condescending apologies to Muslim leaders around the world?  I hope the GOP candidates are taking note of this latest fiasco of the Great Apologist-in-Chief!  As a nation, we're so tired of Obama's un-American apologies!  I don't give a darn what he thinks he's accomplishing with these phony apologies - he's undermining our troops' efforts and safety, and undermines America.

Obama, take your darn propaganda and shove it!  You remind me of a crocodile!  Like a crocodile eating its prey, you have used your position to prey on America and our bravest men and women in the military.  Why not do America a favor and resign - NOW!
But, since we all know you would not do that, here's a news flash for you, Mr. Obama: You won't be around another FIVE years, as you announced yesterday!  You must live in a fantasy world!

An Afghan soldier shot dead two American soldiers as violent anti-US protests over the burning of copies of the Koran swept the country for a third day.
The attacks came after the Taliban urged Afghans to kill foreign troops to avenge the burning of Korans at the US-run Bagram airbase north of Kabul.
Since then at least 11 people have died in demonstrations across the country and 17 have been wounded.
Thousands of protesters have taken to the streets of several cities, chanting "Death to America!" and smashing cars, buildings and shops.

Afghanistan Koran Burning Riots: "A Set Up?"

American soldiers killed amid Afghan protests

The following comment was added to Holger Awaken's recent article.  It is understandable that the individual wrote under "Anonymous", as he sounds like someone who knows exactly how and why the Korans were burned.  He mentions being "set up" and what followed the "burning" certainly sounds like a grand scale set up to cause the Islamic society to riot against the West (and our soldiers!).  Propaganda at its "finest" and a boiling pot of hatred towards the United States.  When you add the apologies of Obama, it just furthers Islam's purpose to demonstrate to the world their hatred towards the West and of course, America's soldiers.
Meanwhile, Obama's thoughtless apology (how many does this make to the Islam world since he took Office?) reminds me of a verse from Proverbs:
There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts,    but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Prov. 12:18
Here is the comment from Anonymous:

Lets put this in perspcetive the Quran or koran whatever the fuck way it's spelled belonged to prisoners in Afghanistan. These were sorely beaten books and were put in the trash by the Afghans themselves.   it is only once the trash went into the fire that this made news. And the Ghanis knew the US burns the trash, so this was likely a setup.   As for these weak kneed cocksuckers from the Co on up to Obama, who tripped over themselves giving apologies, they need to all go back to Officer schools and given a course in winning, not defeat and cowardice. As for Obama you can not expect anything better from him as he puts the Muslim faith ahead of America. He needs to be impeached and I am sure there are enough grounds. Hell How did he become president anyway. His father wasn't American.
America under Obama has hit the bottom rung of the ladder. America is a shadow of its former self, the socialists love this as they entrench and deepen their hold. When will those well armed militias start taking back the country form the likes of these socialist bastards. Another revolution no doubt, but it can wait until after Nocvember and hopefully, the dumb as dirt voters will wake up and ditch this pig. The USA used to be the greatest country in the world and now it bows down to Islam

Obama Apologizes To Afghans For Qur'an Burning, Afghans Don't Apologize For 3,000 Dead Americans on 9/11

“We will take the appropriate steps to avoid any recurrence, including holding accountable those responsible,” Obama said in the letter.

I've had it with this President of ours and most of you already knew that but today, Barack HUSSEIN Obama has me over the edge. Obama today was quick to fire off a letter of apology to the Afghan people for the Qur'an burning by U.S. troops - I want to know where the sam hell our apology is from Afghanistan for the thousands of dead Americans killed on 9/11 when those al Qaeda attackers came from the plot hatched in Afghanistan? Where the fuck is the apology by the Afghans for the hundreds of U.S. troops killed on Afghan soil trying to keep them from being butchered by the Taliban? Where is the damn apology from the Afghans for handing over intelligence to the Pakistanis that has caused the death of Americans in Afghanistan?

Hey Barack, did you ever think to ask the ENEMY for a goddamn apology? You worthless Muslim sympathizing yellow bellied pawn of the Caliphate.

What's next? Is Obama going to apologize to the Iranians for economic hardships they've had since they lied to the world about building nuclear weapons? Barry, how about you apologize to the British for those damn Americans who revolted in 1776.

The story of the latest on the apology tour comes from Breitbart.

Obama sends letter of apology to Afghan president

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - The Afghan president's office says it has received a letter from President Barack Obama formally apologizing for the burning of Qurans at a U.S. military base in Afghanistan.

The statement from President Hamid Karzai's office says the U.S. ambassador delivered the letter on Thursday.

In the letter, which is quoted in the statement, Obama expresses his "deep regret for the reported incident" and offers his "sincere apologies."

According to the statement, Obama wrote: "The error was inadvertent; I assure you that we will take the appropriate steps to avoid any recurrence, to include holding accountable those responsible."

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP)—An Afghan official says two protesters have died in an exchange of gunfire during a riot outside an American base in eastern Afghanistan that also wounded two NATO troops.

The deaths raise to five the number of Afghans killed around the country during Thursday's protests over this week's Quran burnings at a U.S. base.

Governor Haji Mohammad Hassan says NATO and Afghan troops were firing in the air to disperse hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the base in Khogyani district in eastern Nangahar province.

Hassan says during the rioting, one man in an Afghan army uniform shot at NATO troops and seriously wounded two of them.

Earlier, Afghan police shot and killed three protesters during two demonstrations in the north and south of the country.

Peres on Iran: When we say all options are on the table, we mean it

Barak on differences with the US: We cannot transfer responsibility for our security ‘to even the best of our friends’

 February 23, 2012, 7:20 pm

I
srael has a viable military option for use against Iran, President Shimon Peres and Defense Minister Ehud Barak both made clear in separate appearances on Thursday evening.
They were speaking as Iran announced that it had successfully completed four days of military exercises designed to test its air defense systems.
Peres, meeting US Jewish leaders, refuted a report that he plans to tell US President Barack Obama, during his upcoming visit to Washington, that he opposes an Israeli attack on Iran. On the contrary, Peres said, Israel “has the right to defend itself,” an Iranian bomb would be “a catastrophe” and when Israel says “all options are on the table, we really mean it.”
And Barak, asked in a Channel 2 TV interview whether Israel had the military means to stop Iran’s nuclear drive single-handedly, replied, “We wouldn’t discuss things that are not possible.”
Barak said that “anyone who has eyes in their head” could see that the Iranians were determined to achieve nuclear weapons, and that “nations that want to survive, especially in the Middle East” sometimes have to take “calculated risks” in order to safeguard their futures.
When it was put to him that the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, had asserted that a military strike against Iran would not achieve its goals, Barak said that such an assessment would suggest that the Iranian program was already “immune” from attack. The defense minister said he did not think this was the case.
In any event, he added — in an apparent allusion to differing assessments between the US and Israel on the issue — Israel could not afford to transfer responsibility for its future and security, in the face of the Iranian threat, “to even the best of our friends.”
He noted that the regime in Tehran is “avowedly determined to bring down what it calls the Zionist regime.” However complex it might be to deal with Iran today, he added, it would potentially be more dangerous, and involve more loss of life, later on.
Was Israel capable of mounting an effective military strike on its own, Barak was asked. “Don’t worry, if we’re not capable, we won’t attack,” he responded, adding, “We wouldn’t discuss things that are not possible.”
Meanwhile Peres, speaking at the closing session of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations’ annual leadership mission in Jerusalem, addressed the Iran nuclear threat briefly but succinctly.
“I wake up this morning to read in one of the papers a huge headline [about] what I’m going to say to the president of the United States, Obama,” Peres said. “I think that’s very nice on the part of the paper. I imagine that they probably wanted to suggest something for me, for my agenda. It’s their imagination.
“As far as I’m concerned, I never told anybody in my life before a meeting with such a leader what I am going to tell him,” he said.
Thursday’s edition of Haaretz had quoted “political and diplomatic officials who are familiar with Peres’s positions and are helping prepare for the Obama meeting” as saying that he is against the “unceasing self-intimidation” expressed by senior Israeli officials, and intends to tell Obama that he opposes a military strike.
“The state of Israel is an independent, sovereign state, and has the right to defend itself. When we say all options are on the table, we really mean it,” he said.
“Imagine if Iran were to win (the race to the bomb). No country could prevent it from freely exporting terror, or stop it dominating the world’s economy. Iran with a nuclear bomb is a catastrophe,” said Peres.
After Peres, US Ambassador Dan Shapiro took the podium and addressed the nearly 100 delegates, representing 50 organizations. He asserted that despite media reports and public statements by officials suggesting a growing rift between Washington and Jerusalem, the two governments were on the same page regarding the Iranian threat.
“Whatever one reads in the newspapers, I cannot think of any issue on which we are better coordinating than the issue of Iran,” Shapiro said, adding that numerous senior defense and military officials had consulted with their Israeli counterparts during the last few weeks. Such close cooperation demonstrated unity in strategy and resolve on a plan of action, he suggested.
“There is no other country in the world, there is no other relationship in world, where the senior leaders would invest that kind of time to make sure we have total coordination of our policy. And we do,” Shapiro said. “We’re in total coordination and agreement on the nature of this threat and the dangers of Iran acquiring nuclear weapons.”
Crippling economic sanctions against Tehran are the “preferred strategy” of both Israel and the US to prevent that from happening, he added. “While our strategy is clear, for now, all other options are on the table, and more than that, the necessary planning has been done to ensure those options are actually available if at any time they become necessary.”
