PLANCK'S CONSTANT

Here's the good news: Pakistan, our ally in the war on terror, presented the Mahomad Medal of Martyrdom, Islam's highest Honor, upon Shakil Afridi, the doctor who ran a vaccination program for the CIA to collect DNA in order to verify bin Laden's presence at the compound raided by U.S. commandos last May.
Here's the bad news: you have to be dead to get the medal.
OK, I'm joking. Now of course, most of my readers would have realized the joke simply from reading the title to this article; however, believe it or not, there are many people in the world who believe Islam is a religion, and even more ridiculous, that it's a religion of peace, so it's understandable that these very same dupes are very likely to believe that Pakistan is actually an ally of ours in the war on terror and that the Pakistani would honor anyone who aided in the capture or killing of the world's most dangerous terrorist.
If there was ever any doubt whether Pakistan is a terror-supporting nation, this week's sentencing of the good doctor to 33 years in prison should end the wonder.
Doctor Afridi was arrested over 4 months ago, where was Obama all this time?
One of my favorite bloggers offers the following guess:
The US was probably too busy giving inside access for the Osama bin Laden movie
The Obama administration arranged for twoHollywood filmmakers to get special access to government officials involved in the commando operation that killed Osama bin Laden, according to a conservative legal group that posted internal government documents on its website Tuesday.

President Obama is more concerned with his re-election campaign than with the security of our nation. Ironically, Obama only yesterday was boasting to Air Force Grads 1 that the U.S. is more respected and safer than ever before. Huh, respect? The Pakistanis extended a big middle finger to Obama and our country. As for being safer, it's going to be real tough getting anyone to help us when they see how we left this poor guy to twist in the wind.
A real man, a real President of the most powerful nation on Earth, would have said, "This man helped all of us in the war on terror, release him now or be considered a rogue, terrorist nation." A real man, a real President would have immediately pulled the plug on all aid to Pakistan and instituted economic sanctions against them.
When will we ever get a President like Ronald Reagan again?

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — President Barack Obamadeclared Wednesday the world has a "new feeling about America" and more respect for its leadership, weaving re-election themes into a commencement speech to jubilant graduates of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
"We can say with confidence and pride: The United States is stronger, safer and more respected in the world," Obama told more than 1,000 graduates, dressed in their blue dress coats and yellow sashes for a ceremony in the Air Force football stadium.
