Five U.S. soldiers and one Afghan were found to be responsible for the four Korans accidentally burned last week. The mistake lead to a savage and murderous rampage by the very people we have tried to help at great expense for the last decade.

The Korans had been defiled by their owners who wrote messages in them (not allowed under Islamic law) that were directed at causing harm and terrorist acts. Korans can be disposed of by burning under Islamic law though this was not the soldiers’ intent.

They will probably be reprimanded according to the Washington Post. Now what I want to know is why the five soldiers will be reprimanded??? The only reason is political and it is the ultimate in cowardice. How do these authority figures sleep at night? Was this order to repirmand right from our Apologizer-in-Chief?

This is the reward our soldiers get for putting their lives on the line? What about a reprimand for Karzai and the rampaging lunatics who murdered six of our soldiers???

U.S. military officials said that although the five soldiers will be reprimanded, it’s unlikely that their names will be released or that their punishment will approach the seriousness of what some Afghans are demanding, including trial in an Afghan court…Read here: Washington Post
