Barrage from Gaza and Iron Dome defense result in YouTube uploads
As the rocket fire continued from Gaza over the weekend, residents of southern Israel took to the rooftops to watch and film the action, instead of heading to shelters. In separate statements, outgoing Minister for Home Front Defense Matan Vilnai and Ashkelon Mayor Benny Vaknin condemned the practice.
As of Sunday morning there were dozens of videos uploaded to YouTube showing incoming rockets and/or interceptions by the Iron Dome defense system, mostly filmed in Beersheba or Ashdod.
