Report: Turkey may revoke agreements with Mossad

Bee's note:  Probably for the best, since reports of Fidan turning in names of informants to Iran surfaced within the last few weeks. Whatever "agreements" Turkey had with Israel in the past, it is obvious that no such agreements are trustworthy today.
The US media normally does not report news that may "upset" the Washington administration and so, The Washington Post's report is quite unusual, as it actually disclosed Turkey's betrayal of intelligence information.

Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak, which is affiliated with Ankara's governing AKP party, claims that Turkish intelligence chief Hakan Fidan will soon recommend annulling agreements allowing Mossad agents to operate freely on Turkish soil.

Turkey's intelligence chief Hakan Fidan is poised to convince Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to revoke a series of agreements with Israel that allow the Mossad to operate freely on Turkish soil, Turkish newspaper

Damascus Demands War Reparations:

Damascus Demands War Reparations: “Countries Which Ruined Syria Must Compensate”: Syrian Deputy PM

Global Research, October 22, 2013

Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil says countries that have participated in Syria’s crisis must compensate for the destruction they have brought to the Arab country.“We must not forget that Syria is a country rich in resources. Clearly, however, after all this destruction, its own resources are insufficient for reconstruction. Thus, one must mobilize private funds and additional resources, including form of compensation. It is natural that countries that have destroyed Syria must compensate,” Jamil said in an interview with the Russian TV channel Russia Today (RT) on Monday. The Syrian deputy prime minister pointed the finger at Turkey, accusing the country of looting Syria’s industrial hub, Aleppo.
Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil
He further noted that corrupt figures who subsequently became representatives of foreign-backed opposition groups will also have to pay for post-conflict reconstruction.
Jamil said that the issue of compensation by the states, which have played a role in the destruction of the Middle Eastern country, will be one of the priority themes at the upcoming Geneva II conference.
Western and Arab governments prepare to meet Syrian opposition leaders on Tuesday in London to persuade them to attend Geneva II.
The Geneva II conference is seen as a chance to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria. The event has been delayed for months.
The Syrian government has said that it will participate in the talks, but will not negotiate with “terrorists.”
Syria has been gripped by deadly unrest since 2011. According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies — especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey — are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.
According to the United Nations, more than 100,000 people have been killed and millions displaced in the violence.

Netanyahu Airs Fears Of Iran Compromise As He Meets Kerry In Rome

Prime minister warns US that a bad deal is worse than no deal.

By TOVAH LAZAROFF
A bad deal is worse than no deal, if it leaves Iran with the capacity to produce nuclear weapons, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu warned US Secretary of State John Kerry before the two met met together in Rome on Wednesday.
“I think a partial deal that leaves Iran with these capabilities is a bad deal,” Netanyahu said.
Their conversation was expected to focus in part on a perceived strategic difference between them with regard to disarming Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
Israel believes that the international community must continue to pressure Iran economically until its dismantles is nuclear weapons facilities and removes enriched uranium from the country. It fears that the US and other world powers would ease financial pressure against Iran in exchange for an agreement with Tehran in which it would curb but not halt its program.
“Iran must not have a nuclear weapons capability, which means that they shouldn’t have centrifuges or enrichment,” Netanyahu said.
“They shouldn’t have a plutonium heavy water plant, which is used only for nuclear weapons. They should get rid of the advanced fissile material and they shouldn’t have underground nuclear facilities, underground for one reason – for military purposes,” he said.
Netanyahu urged Kerry to apply the principles he used with regard to Syrian chemical weapons with Iran. The US refused to accept a partial deal with Iran, the way it did with Syria, Netanyahu said.
Israel and the US both want a peaceful end to Iran’s nuclear weapons program, Netanyahu said and added that the best way to achieve that was with continued financial pressure.
“I think it’ll be a tragic mistake to stop right before that goal is realized. And I look forward to discussing this issue with you,” Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu noted that he and Kerry spoke almost every other day about Iran and the renewed Israeli Palestinian peace process.
Peace with the Palestinians he said is based on their recognition of Israel as the Jewish state for the Jewish people and on their acceptance of Israel’s security needs.
“I think these are the two twin pillars for peace and I look forward to discussing how we can advance both goals in our discussions today and undoubtedly our discussions tomorrow as well,” Netanyahu said.
Kerry said that with regard to Tehran, US’s eyes were “wide open” and that it was “vital” for any Iranian nuclear energy program to live up to the standards of other similar international programs.
“We will need to know that actions are being taken which make it crystal clear, undeniably clear, fail-safe to the world that whatever program is pursued is indeed a peaceful program,” Kerry said.
“No deal is better than a bad deal but if this can be solved satisfactorily diplomatically it is clearly better for everyone,” Kerry said.

IAF warplanes attacked a shipment of advanced missiles from Syria to Hezbollah, says Kuwaiti newspaper

IAF warplanes attacked a shipment of advanced missiles that Syria was transferring toHezbollah, according to Kuwaiti newspaper Al Jareeda. The attack took place on Monday.

An official source in Jerusalem reportedly confirmed the attack took place but did not say where. The missiles were reportedly "long range and accurate" ones.

In late July, IAF jets bombed trucks carrying Syrian missiles bound for Hezbollah's warehouses in Lebanon, according to Syrian opposition sources.

The bombing reportedly targeted a Syrian military base near the town of Quneitra, not far from the Golan Heights cease-fire line

That was the fifth known Israeli attack this year on Syrian weapons bound for Hezbollah. Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad reportedly wants to send the weapons to Hezbollah for safekeeping, out of fears they will fall into the hands of the rebels forces fighting him inside Syria, whilst the Iranian-backed terrorist group seeks "game changing weapons" – such as anti-aircraft missiles – in exchange for its costly intervention in the Syrian civil war on behalf of the Syrian regime.

Any US-Iran nuclear deal faces hard sell in Congress

Obama will have a tough time convincing Congress to relieve sanctions on #Iran in order to solve the nuclear dispute.   What are your thoughts on easing sanctions as a strategy?
By Jo Biddle (AFP)
Washington — With nuclear talks between Iran and western powers gathering steam, the Obama administration will likely face an uphill battle to convince Congress to back any deal rolling back its tough sanctions regime.
For years, US lawmakers have carefully crafted legislation aimed at reining in Iran's suspect nuclear program and moves to provide even some sanctions relief are likely to be met with suspicion on Capitol Hill.
Even as the nations leading the talks with Tehran -- the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany -- met for the first time with the new Iranian leadership in Geneva last week, US lawmakers issued warnings to the negotiators to be on their guard.
Details of what Iranian officials proposed during an hour-long power point presentation in English behind closed doors remain confidential, but the talks were hailed as "serious and substantive" and the broad contours are not hard to discern.
The six powers want the Islamic republic to halt enrichment of uranium to 20 percent, which brings it to weapons grade, and dismantle its weapons-related infrastructure, in return for relief from crippling economic sanctions imposed by the US, UN and European powers.
But enmity and suspicion between Iran and the US stretch back decades to the Islamic revolution and the 444-day siege of the US embassy in Tehran in 1980. And any deal could be a hard sell to hardliners in both nations.
US chief negotiator, Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman, has already been debriefing lawmakers by phone and is set to testify at a series of classified briefings before she returns to Geneva for the next talks on November 7 and 8.
"I don't think the issue's convincing the American people, I think it's convincing the people in Congress who want to pass sanctions no matter what," said Alireza Nader, senior policy analyst at the RAND Corporation think tank.
Indeed, draft legislation for new US sanctions targeting the automobile sector and Iran's foreign reserves is awaiting a vote in the Senate, after being adopted in July by the House of Representatives.
President Barack Obama has some authority to ease some US sanctions hitting the petroleum and banking sectors, mostly those slapped on third countries doing business with Iran.
And the New York Times reported last week the White House may be considering unblocking some $10 million in frozen Iranian assets in the United States to give the Rouhani leadership some access to badly needed foreign exchange reserves.
But Joel Rubin, director of policy at the Ploughshares Fund, a non-government organization working for a nuclear-arms free world, warned that if Congress continues to press sanctions it may become "a spoiler" to the delicate diplomatic maneuvering under way.
"Congress has done a very good service to help create a pressure component to the overall strategy on Iran," Rubin told AFP.
"The danger is Congress will continue to do what it does in promoting additional measures, that would actually complicate the environment."
He argued that while the world's toughest sanctions regime had brought the new Iranian leadership of President Hassan Rouhani to the table, it had failed to halt Iran's nuclear drive, which the West suspects masks a bid for a nuclear bomb.
Iran is now believed to have something between 18,000 to 19,000 centrifuges, key to the enrichment operation, while its new heavy water reactor at Arak may come online in 2014.

Young Turkish Jews Flee Growing Anti-Semitism

Senior member of Israel's Turkish Jewish community says Islamist AKP party fanning the flames of hatred.

Turkish Jews are leaving the country due to growing anti-Semitism, exacerbated by the Islamist AKP government's antagonism towards Israel and Jews.

So says Nesim GüveniÅŸ, deputy chairman the Association of Turkish Jews in Israel.

Speaking to Turkey's Hurriyet Daily GüveniÅŸ claimed that young Jews are particularly keen to leave, hundreds of whom have already moved to the US and Europe in recent years.

The infamous Mavi Marmara incident and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's decision to storm out of a televised interview with Israeli President Shimon Peres were all contributing factors to the growing sense of unease among Turkey's 15,000-strong Jewish community, who saw it as pure antagonism on the part of their own Prime Minister.

"Is [Israeli President Shimon] Peres a man that could be told ‘one minute’? He is known in the world as a man of peace," protested GüveniÅŸ, who himself made aliyah (emigrated) to Israel in 1981, and is one of approximately 80,000 Turkish Jews living in Israel today.

But anti-Israel politics are just the tip of the iceberg.

Blatantly anti-Semitic statements by Turkish leaders have become almost routine; from the country's Deputy Prime Minister accusing a dark conspiracy by "Diaspora Jewry" as being behind the mass "Gezi Park" anti-government protest movement, to similar comments made by Erdoganhimself.

Erdogan's long history of anti-Semitism is no secret. Prior to his stint as Prime Minister, in 1998 Erdogan - then mayor of Istanbul - infamously declared that: "the Jews have begun to crush the Muslims in Palestine, in the name of Zionism. Today, the image of the Jews is no different than that of the Nazis."

"K", a 20 year-old Jewish student and emigre from Turkey who spoke to Arutz Sheva on condition of anonymity, confirmed that he and other Turkish Jews his age were leaving Turkey out of "desperation."

"They were like, 'let's go before it's too late,'" he related, saying that the number one destination for emigres was Israel, followed by the United States.

"They were afraid for the future of Turkey," he added, asking not to be named due to fears for his safety and the safety of his family.

Interestingly, in his interview with Hurriyet, GüveniÅŸ claimed that a significant factor motivating his own aliyah was the extremism his sons experienced on Turkish university campuses.

“They didn’t want to go to university where leftists or other groups were putting pressure on them to take sides at school. They went to university in Israel and we also had to move again after a couple of years. The first two years in Israel were difficult, and we had to learn the language. But I don’t regret it,” he said.

With two Turkish students currently held in Poland after an anti-Semitic incident at a former Nazi death camp, it would appear that little has changed.

DHS, Valerie Jarrett’s Fiefdom, TARGETING U.S. (Patriotic) Citizens/Christians

DHS, Valerie Jarrett’s Fiefdom, TARGETING U.S. (Patriotic) Citizens/Christians: Warnings From (Retired) Army Officers of MARTIAL LAW
Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

Regardless of whose name is atop the official masthead at DHS, the fact of the matter is that Iranian-born Valerie Jarrett runs the show. It is her (private) fiefdom. Her playground.

This site has been warning its readers of an impending storm, and not ala the made up out of whole cloth “global warming” kind! This is no hoax.
To be exact, DHS has been exposed as the antithesis of a homeland security umbrella. As a matter of record, back in July 2012, at the inception of this blog, it  became glaringly apparent that DHS’s original mandate was compromised, and by those whose interests were decidedly anti-American. How can this be?
Well, the purposeful (emphasis added) deconstruction of America, its destruction, necessitates many “helping hands”, and the co-opting of DHS is a logical, resource-rich, “go to” address. Simple as that. Devious.
Fanning the flames, in September 2012, Black Hawks were sighted swirling overhead in U.S. cities, and droppings of info seeped out that DHS was stockpiling inordinate amounts of ammo and military-style armor, well beyond what has ever been purchased for cumulative years in toto. Why exactly? Are flying saucer aliens swooping down, as such, heretofore unseen protection is now mandated? Inquiring minds want – demand – to know.

From one patriot to another, issuing warnings re DHS and other relevant concerns comes with the territory. One’s duty. Yet the situation becomes even more incendiary and pressing, when one encounters the politicizing of the largest umbrella for homeland security-related matters. You think?

Thus, the unfathomable insertion of Russian/Eastern European and other foreign foreign troops onto U.S soil should send shivers down every patriot’s spine. If not, then why not? By the way, the above is just the tip of DHS’s spear, as gun control is a BIG part of their plans, as they prepare for war against the citizens!

Retired Army officer warns: DHS preparing for war against American citizens

  • Capt. Terry M. Hestilow, U.S. Army, Retired.

“It is with gravest concern that I write to you today concerning the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America,” his letter began.
The retired officer expressed deep concerns over “recent purchases of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) armored personnel carriers, 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition (with associated weapons), and other weapons systems.”
Capt. Hestilow added a statement that Barack Obama made during his 2008 campaign.
“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve gotta (sic) have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded [as the United States military],” he said.
He also accused the administration of “deliberately defunding, overextending, and hollowing the Department of Defense,” which he said is the “only legitimate agency” with the mission of conducting combat operations.
In his letter, Capt. Hestilow called on Congress to demand that the DHS surrender their weapons systems to the Defense Department. He also accused the DHS of enforcing the “tyrannical acts of this president” and said lawmakers should dissolve the agency “as soon as possible.”
“One needs only to look to the rise of Adolf Hitler, and his associated DHS organizations, the SA and the SS, of 1932-1934, to see the outcome of allowing an agency of government this kind of control over the free citizens of a nation,” he added.
Capt. Hestilow said that Americans cannot “be so naïve” as to think that what happened in Germany cannot happen here.
Earlier in the week, Capt. Hestilow asked his Facebook followers who the DHS intends to kill with the weapons and ammunition that it has recently purchased.
“Short answer,” he wrote. “You and me! Anyone they think is standing in their way to impose a new Marxist government! Anyone who stands for the U.S. Constitution!”
“If I live and still have a page to speak out on later this week, I will discuss a proper Constitutional response in a couple of days. Standby. Out,” he wrote on Thursday.
Capt. Hestilow ended his strongly-worded letter with a simple declaration: “We refuse to surrender our Constitution or our nation!”

Now, it goes without saying, when the fish stinks from the head up, all manner of poisonous edicts emerge. So, the new honcho at DHS, Muslim Brotherhood operative, Mohamed Elibiary, is warning thusly:

By the way, the above operative has the audacity to opine (not unlike his fellow stealth Islamist, Grover Norquist) that he is Conservative-leaning and not a leftist. Well, yes, he is a Conservative Muslim, but not a Conservative American!

IN close proximity to the above revelations, along comes an ex-Navy SEAL and he emits a bombshell, and this serves as confirmation of related info this site is sharing/blaring for close to a year. Being right is not always rewarding…knowing full well that the groundwork for Martial Law is being prepped.

Ex-Navy SEAL Drops Bombshell On FOX: Says Government Is CREATING Conditions To Impose Martial Law (Oct 15, 2013 Video Report)

ATOP an avalanche of mounting evidence, is it still a hysterical rant to posit: there are manifest parallels between DHS and Nazi Germany’s Gestapo, and Islamists are now in the service of radical leftists and vice versa? Unreservedly, the answer is – NOT at all!
Rest assured, the Gestapo did not morph into its infamous essence overnight. Slowly, steadily, it forward-marched Germany into the depths of hell, before many of its citizens knew what hit them.
Herein lies a historical nexus. A calamity in the making.

Abbas: Israel will be responsible for any failure of talks

Bee's note:  I rarely share propaganda from the PLO/Fatah organization, but sometimes the lies Abbas promotes through the media (who are all to willing to spread his propaganda) are so over the top, I find it necessary to show how terrorists work their "magic" in attempts to slander Israel.
Abbas, the smiling faced terrorist known as "leader" of the Fatah movement and supported by the West in their appeasements to the Arabs, will have no one to blame for the failed "talks" but himself.  As I stated earlier today, this is the same guy who had to be bribed with a FOUR BILLION DOLLAR "GIFT" from the US, just to get him to the table and yet, he still refuses to face PM Netanyahu face to face.
Abbas, and his Fatah movement, are the same people who demonstrate their "love" towards the Jews by teaching their children to hate from the day they are born! Their youth are filmed daily throwing rocks at the IDF and Israeli citizens; murder Jewish families in the dead of night while sleeping, as  two teenage Palestinians did at Itamar, in Samaria, March 11, 2011, and the list is piling higher these past 30 days, as Palestinians are guilty of murdering two IDF soldiers and countless other criminial actions too numerous to mention here.
Sorry, Abbas, but your crying to the Media does not work; we're on to your slanderous lies, propaganda, and are fully aware of your hypocritical, crooked attempts to blame Israel for your unwillingness to seriously seek peace with the Jewish nation Israel.
The EU and the West can slam Israel for building on their own homeland; the Arabs can continue their propaganda and none of their interference will prevent Israel from growing, in spite of the intentions of most "leaders" to cut up Israel into pieces for the sake of appeasing their oil-rich buddies in the Arab world.
There are 22 Arab nations surrounding the tiny Land of Israel.  Jordan is the Palestinians homeland.  Hasn't anyone figured out yet that anyone of these Islamic nations could welcome the Palestinians with open arms; but that would ruin their true goal of wiping Israel off the map.
They don't want to support these Arab Palestinian "brothers"; they block the PA terrorists at the Egyptian gates/borders, treat them like scum in Lebanon, and then accuse Israel of not being "fair" to these troublemaker PLO/PA/Hamas terrorists.  Hamas and the Fatah movement are cut from the same cloth - Arafat's PLO and for whatever political reasons, the West decided to choose the lesser of two evils, according to them, by dubbing Fatah as "moderates".  They are as "moderate" as the rebel terrorist groups in Syria.
It is past time for Israel to stand her ground and say "Enough!".

Visiting the Lithuanian capital, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Tuesday that Israel would be responsible for any failure of the peace talks.

"We will not accept that," Abbas said in response to a question of the Baltic news agency BNS on any future Israeli military control the borders of a demilitarized Palestinian state.

"And if they (the negotiations) fail, they (the Israelis) will be the reason for this failure, not us," the Palestinian president added.

"They do not have the right to stay on our land after the signing of the peace treaty," Abbas said.

"They don't have the right to stay in our territories after we signed a peace treaty," he noted, stressing that he accepts a future demilitarized Palestinian state.

"We want, according to the Oslo Accords , a strong police force. This is exactly what we want, how we understand, how they understand, how the Americans understand it," the Palestinian leader said.

He also welcomed the European Union's call on Israel to stop building settlements.

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite urged Israel on Monday to halt the development of settlements in the occupied territories."

After a meeting with Abbas in Vilnius, Grybauskaite stressed that "the European Union does not recognize the settlements as part of Israel ".

A new round of talks to Israeli-Palestinian peace was held Monday night in Jerusalem, focusing in the issue of water rights, a Palestinian official said Tuesday.
