As U.S. and Western top generals meet in the Middle East Monday to deliberate their next move, Israelis are flocking to distribution centers to pick up gas masks, fearing Syrian retaliation should the regime of President Bashar Assad be attacked.
Israel’s Postal Authority, which is responsible for handing out civilian gas masks, reported a three-fold increase in home delivery orders of chemical weapons kits which include gas masks and a nerve gas antidote.

British, American navies poised for attack - but how realistic is western intervention in Syria?

British and American naval vessels are currently preparing for military action against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, following an alleged chemical attack by the regime against its own civilians, according to The Telegraph.
According to the paper, military commanders are currently drawing up a list of potential targets to strike, in a operation that would resemble the opening phase of the western intervention in Libya which helped oust Colonel Gaddafi.
In that operation, western forces used air and naval forces to back rebels fighters on the ground, but stopped short of sending "boots on the ground" of their own.
Talks between western leaders are still ongoing, but a potential military intervention involving a joint air and naval attack could potentially begin within a week, according to British government sources.
The report comes soon after British Foreign Secretary William Hague and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu upped the ante by claiming United Nations approval was not necessarily needed for intervention to take place.  read more

 As Obama and his minions continue to blame Bashar al-Assad for the chemical attacks on Syrian civilians, a few days ago on Facebook I posted a short statement as to what I believed to be the truth in regards to the gassing of those civilians. 

I stated it was my opinion that the Syrian rebels, who are outwardly supported by al-Qaeda, and to whom I believe Barack HUSSEIN Obama was running guns and weapons to (can you say Benghazi), are the ones using the chemical weapons (of the same sarin gas type that Saddam used on the Kurds and moved to Syria before we went into Iraq) on their own people and blaming it on Assad.I further stated that I believed this to be the case because Assad’s military forces are gaining ground against the rebels…rebels who are actually jihadists and NOT opposition fighters for Syrian freedom, but fighters who want to turn once somewhat secular Syria (albeit a dictatorship) into yet another islamic state. And to that end, what better way to turn world opinion against Assad than to claim he’s the one gassing the civilians.

And now it seems I was right for according to both Syria’s information minister, Omran al-Zoabi, who said Syrian rebels were the ones who fired rockets containing chemical agents last Tuesday, and with the official Syrian Arab News Agency, reporting that the Syrian military has uncovered a large secret store of chemical weapons in the tunnels beneath the heavily contested Damascus suburb of Jobar, and that these weapons were NOT put there by Assad’s forces for this discovery…in the former rebel stronghold… shows that it was the al-Qaeda backed Syrian rebels who were the ones using chemical weapons against civilians NOT Assad.

"But really this is NO surprise as the governments of both Saudi Arabia and Qatar are strong supporters of the Syrian rebels, so finding these items in a rebel warehouse…in a former rebel stronghold…puts the pieces of the puzzle together quite nicely. Remember, Turkey is widely known as being the middleman between these two countries and the Syrian rebels, and with Ankara publicly denouncing Assad even while they deny any involvement in moving weapons to the rebels, a definitive connection is starting to emerge that ties Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s in-your-face loyalty to them with the happenings at Benghazi (the infamous photo of an American president bowing down to the Saudi King comes to mind).And for we patriots everything points back to Benghazi…the truth about Benghazi and why Ambassador Christopher Stevens needed to be silenced…a truth I have spoken of time and again since day one…the truth that (I believe) shows Barack HUSSEIN Obama was ‘under the radar’ smuggling guns and weapons (including possibly these just used chemical weapons) through Turkey to the Syrian rebels, and that he was even aided in that task by both his allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar…after all the findings in the warehouse seem to indicate just that." read more

Assad says chemical weapons claims 'insult to common sense'

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said Western claims his regime used chemical weapons were an "insult to common sense" and warned the United States it faced failure if it attacked Syria, in an interview with a Russian newspaper published Monday. 

Assad told pro-Kremlin daily Izvestia in the extensive interview that Syria would never be a "puppet" of the West and said Washington had never succeeded in reaching its political aims through war.

 

"The comments (accusing the regime of using chemical weapons) made by politicians in the West and other countries are an insult to common sense... It is nonsense," Assad said.

 

Assad accused the United States of first making the accusations that his regime used chemical weapons in an attack outside Damascus that activists say killed hundreds, and only later starting to look for proof.

 

He said the frontline in the area where the incident took place was not clear and the Syrian regime would have risked killing its own army forces if it used chemical weapons. READ MORE

It’s Middle East Groundhog Day all over again.  The discussion of What To Do About Syria is a replay of What To Do About Saddam:  it’s all about the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time in the wrong way.

When the intel and military “experts” say, as they have been saying for many months, “there is no good outcome in Syria,” they’re talking about that war, the wrong war.

We invaded Iraq in the name of the War Against Terror, which President George W. Bush defined as a war against terrorist organizations and the states that supported them.  That should have made Iran the focus of our strategy, since Tehran was (and still is, now more than ever) the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism.  Nothing would have so devastated the jihadis as the fall of the Iranian regime, which–then as now–funded, trained, armed and gave sanctuary to terrorist groups from al-Qaeda and Hezbollah to Islamic Jihad and Hamas.  Unless we defeated Iran, it would not be possible for Iraq to have decent security, no matter how total the defeat of Saddam and the Baathists, and how well-intentioned the successor government.  As you can plainly see.

It’s not as if anyone should be surprised;  before the invasion, both Assad and Khamenei publicly announced that they would wage war against us in Iraq, just as they had in Lebanon a short generation before.  Today they warn us to stay out of Syria, or they will attack us on a global scale.

Here we go.  Again.  We are still the main target of the terror war, of which the leading sponsor is Iran.  The Assad regime in Damascus is a satrapy of Iran, as we are publicly told by both the Syrian insurrectionaries and the Iranian leaders, including The Great Moderate, President Rouhani.  There are thousands of Iranian killers in the front lines, hailing from the Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force and from Hezbollah, long the regime’s foreign legion. Iranian advisers tell Assad’s loyalists where and how to attack, and if the Syrians have indeed used chemical weapons, you can be sure the Iranians approved it, and were probably involved in the operations.

So, as in Iraq, if you want to win this battle in the terror war, you must defeat the Iranian regime.  And, as in the early years of this bloody century, you can do it without dropping bombs or sending Americans to fight on the ground, because the overwhelming majority of Iranians want to rid themselves of Khamenei and Rouhani and all the rest of their tyrannical oppressors.  They can do it, with a bit of political, technological and economic support. 

 They could have done it in 2003, when they were on the verge of declaring a general strike against the regime.  Colin Powell and W abandoned them, and it never happened.  They could have done it in 2009, when millions of them took to the streets in demonstrations larger than those that led to the downfall of the shah.  Hillary Clinton and O abandoned them, and a brutal repression ensued.

A lot of Americans have been sacrificed to our failure of strategic vision, and American soldiers, the best of us, are at risk today in Afghanistan, targets of Iranian-trained Taliban fanatics.  You can be sure that more Americans will be at enhanced risk if we engage in Syria, from soldiers on military bases to civilians in embassies and consulates and resorts and stock exchanges, or even walking through Times Square or waiting at the finish line of a marathon.

How Hamas Helped Morsi Break Out of Prison

This is interesting because unlike a lot of the conspiracy theories floating around the region, this seems plausible and grounded in reality.

It was an event easily overlooked during the pandemonium that engulfed Egypt in the 2011 uprising against Hosni Mubarak and his regime.

Shortly after 2am on January 30, 2011, Mohammed Morsi and 31 other members of the Muslim Brotherhood escaped from a maximum-security prison complex 120 kilometres north of the capital, Cairo.

Besides senior Brotherhood officials, some 40 members of two other prominent regional Islamist groups – Hamas and Lebanon’s Hizbollah – also escaped.

Once considered a footnote to the cataclysmic events that were then sweeping Egypt, the prison break and its hints of regional Islamist involvement are now set to take centre stage in legal efforts by Egyptian authorities to prevent the jailed Mr Morsi and other senior members of his Islamist-led government from returning to political life. If convicted on charges of espionage, Mr Morsi and his top aides could be sentenced to death.

Hisham Barakat, the public prosecutor in the case, alleged that Mr Morsi secretly colluded with Hamas, the Islamist movement that rules the Gaza Strip, in planning an assault on the prison in 2011.

According to the testimony by Omar Suleiman, the powerful former director of Egypt’s national intelligence directorate, the Wadi Natroun prison break may have been part of a well-planned operation to liberate jails across the country, carried out by Egyptian Bedouins with the help of Islamists in Egypt and abroad.

Testifying on September 14, 2011, in the trial of Mubarak on charges of complicity in the deaths of protesters during the 2011 uprising, Suleiman said Egypt’s spy agencies started monitoring communications between members of Hamas and Bedouins in Sinai on January 26, 2011 – one day after mass protests broke out.

“Hamas communicated with the Bedouins and agreed that they would provide them with ordnance in exchange for assistance in freeing their comrades from Egyptian prisons,” said Suleiman, according to a transcript of his court testimony.

The Al Qassam Brigades, the militant wing of Hamas, “created a diversion so that the border guards would not pursue the smuggled ordnance. Thus the weapons, ammunition and explosives were successfully smuggled and given to the Bedouins,” he said.

With up to 90 Gaza-based members of Hizbollah, Hamas militants then entered Egypt illegally and led the assaults on prisons across the country, said Suleiman, who died in July last year.

This would explain the links between Hamas and the outbreak of Sinai violence and Morsi’s own attempt at crushing the military, while at the same time the military was keeping a tight lid on Hamas smuggling tunnels.

The Egyptian military knew or suspected that Hamas had linked up with Sinai Jihadists to carry out attacks in Egypt for the Brotherhood’s gain.

"Dozens of churches were burned and destroyed in the largest attack on Coptic houses of worship since 1321", reports the Wall Street Journal about the latest  persecution of Christians in Egypt.

A symbol of Egypt's national culture, the ancient churches of Minya, did not hold religious services for the first time in 1,600 years. The churches had been destroyed by supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi.

The Coptic Pope Tawadros II, who appeared at the side of General Al Sisi during the announcement of Morsi's dismissal, is now hiding in a secret location for fear of terrorist attacks.

Christian shops and homes have been marked by a black "X", while the Muslim buildings are marked with a red "X". At the end of the clashes, the black painted buildings were destroyed, while the red ones were left unharmed. It was an operation of religious cleansing.

Last July, a Christian was beheaded by Islamists and there have been least seven deaths among Christians in the last few days.

The guru of the Muslim Brotherhood, Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, gave formal approval for the attacks against Christians. In a video, Qaradawi says that "Christians" have been "recruited (by the military junta) to kill innocent Muslims."

Videos from Egypt show burned churches and Islamists who embrace and kiss each other, congratulating one another for the destruction of the buildings of "infidels." In the city of Sohag, Islamists raised the black flag of al Qaeda on a church and executed a Christian couple after asking for their identity cards.

The Franciscan School of Beni Suef has been destroyed by Islamists and nuns have been forced to march in the streets as if they were "prisoners of war", while the cross in front of the building was torn down and replaced by the terrorists' flag.

An Islamic mob destroyed the Institute of Egypt in Cairo, founded by Napoleon and containing 192,000 books and documents from as far back as the XIX century. It’s simply gone.
Meanwhile, in the church of Mallawi, the statue of the mother of Jesus was literally decapitated.

Islamists are obliterating non-Muslim heritage in the Middle East. Their targets are Jewish shrines, Christian churches, monuments and cultural masterpieces.

In Timbuktu, Mali, Islamists destroyed the tomb of a Sufi saint, Sidi Mahmoud Ben Amar. Timbuktu is known as “the city of the 333 saints”, classified among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The UN cultural body didn’t raise its voice against this Islamic cataclysm.

Napoleon’s legendary “Description de l’Egypte” is lost (in 1822 Jean-François Champollion used this document to unveil the mistery of the hierogliphycs). UNESCO, again, stood silent.

As it stood silent when Egypt’s former cultural minister, Farouk Hosni, said he “would burn Israeli books in Egyptian libraries”.

The dream of Napoleon was to conquer the land of the pharaohs and the "wise general" surrounded himself with men of science. He wanted Egypt and its civilization to be recorded for posterity. There were well-known scientist friends of Napoleon, the physicist Gaspard Monge and the chemist Claude Berthollet (the inventor of bleach) whom he enlisted for the project.

The Institute of Egypt became the headquarters of the scientific expedition. The building was "the favorite mistress of the general," according to the mocking comments of the French military. The "Description", in twenty volumes, now burned forever, was their historical testament. It was burned just the way the Mongols burned the library of Baghdad in 1258.

Egypt's history came under attack this week when pro-Morsi terrorists looted more than 1,000 artifacts, burning mummies, breaking statues and hauling off ancient beaded jewelry from Malawi Museum.

Islamic salafists are trying to ban the ancient statues that dot Egypt and suggested that the pagan treasures “could be covered with wax”.

The sirens that embellish the fountain of Zeus in Alexandria have been deemed “inappropriate” by the Salafist party, which decided to “veil” them completely with a sheet.

In Israel, Palestinian Muslims torched the synagogues in Gaza’s Katif Bloc. It was an orgy of hate.

Twelve years ago, Arabs destroyed Joseph’s tomb, Judaism’s fourth holy site, smashing the stone structure and ripping it apart, brick by brick.

The arson attack on the Shalom al Yisrael synagogue in Jericho and the continuing gunfire at Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem are two other examples.

The Islamic Waqf is attempting to destroy all evidence of Jewish claims to the The Temple Mount in Jerusalem, while using terror and intimidation to impose its exclusive claim to the sacred site. The Waqf has proceeded on two fronts: de-Judaize the Mount by archeological destruction and  Islamize it by preventing the Jews from praying there.

In 2000 the Taliban destroyed two wonderful Buddhas in Bamyan, Afghanistan. It was a turning point for a proto-Nazi ideology bent on the physical eradication of its enemies and their religious symbols. Like when a Greek garrison had to defend Athens' Acropolis against a Turkish siege in 1826.

Between 1999 and 2004 approximately 150 churches, monasteries and seminaries were attacked by Albanian and Bosnian Muslims. Many of the churches contained Byzantine frescoes dating as far back as the 13th century. These sites were reduced to rubble, in full view of the U.N. and the world's media.

We also witnessed the looting of the Baghdad museum during the US invasion in 2003. And in Nigeria dozens of churches have been destroyed by Boko Haram.

French philosopher Christian Godin wrote that Islamism is far more dangerous than either Nazism or Communism with regard to world culture, since the latter, despite their genocidal aberrations, presupposed their own preservation (Hitler's cultural chief, Alfred Rosenberg, travelled through the whole of Europe to collect books and masterpieces).

For the Islamists, it is the world itself that does not deserve to exist. These troglodytes would, if they had their way, take our civilization back to the 7th century.

Before going to the report on Israel National News, please note TheTimes of Israel's headlines:

Peace talks on rocks after 3 Palestinians killed by IDF - "Session of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations scheduled for Monday night canceled over shooting in Qalandiya"

Abbas had to be appeased and bribed before he would consider "talks" of "peace" with Israel and Kerry/Obama team agreed with the PLO/Fatah/Abbas' demands, by forcing Israel to release Palestinian terrorists from Israeli prisons. Of course, that wasn't a "precondition" to talks, since there were not suppose to be preconditions. (Yeah, right!)

And so, the talks began with the blood on the hands of the Palestinian terrorists released; and everyone watching on the sidelines were taking bets as to how long it would take Abbas to bow out of the "talks" - "talks" he was never serious about in the first place.  How could he be?  He is attached to the hip of the Hamas Palestinians, who are attached to the hips of the Muslim Brotherhood.  The suicide bombings by the Palestinians began after the Oslo Agreement was signed and continue to this day: some of those suicide bombers were released per request of Abbas/Kerry.  These peace talks are as worthless as all previous "agreements" between these Arab Palestinians and Israel.

So, the attack on the IDF as they went to arrest a suspect, by 1500 Palestinians, seems like a good reason for Abbas, to cancel sessions of negotiations, as he whines about "settlement building" during his complaint over three dead Palestinians.  How does any rational mind include contractors and building in the same complaint about the deaths of your own people?  That's like being told your friends died and as you process that news, you then complain that someone served you the wrong flavor ice cream.  You ask, "What does ice cream have to do with friends dying?!"  My response would be "Nothing!" And settlements have nothing to do with peace talks, or a mob of Palestinians attacking the IDF.

Video: Three Arabs Killed in Kalandiya Riot

IDF: security forces entered neighborhood to carry out an arrest, and were attacked with "extreme violence" by hundreds of Arabs.

Arab sources said Monday morning that three Arabs were shot dead in Kalandiya, north of Jerusalem, in a clash with the IDF, and 19 were wounded.


An initial IDF inquiry shows that Border Police were attacked with fire bombs, rocks and bottles, and had to resort to live fire.

The IDF said Monday that the incident took place during nighttime activity by security forces for the arrest of a wanted man in Kalandiya. In thecourse of the arrest, “an extremely violent disturbance” developed, and “many hundreds” of Arabs attacked the IDF force.

The IDF force that was providing security for the arresting squad took action to extricate it, and when the forces felt actual danger to their lives, they opened fire at the attackers. The wanted man, a terrorist, was arrested and taken to interrogation.

AFP said that three Arabs were transferred to a hospital in Ramallah, where they were pronounced dead. 

Arab hospital officials told AFP the dead were Rubeen Abed Fares, 30, and Yunis Jahjouh, 22, who were both shot in the chest, and Jihad Aslan, 20, who died of brain damage.

"In the early hours of the morning a border police team went into Kalandiya camp to arrest a hostile terrorist activist," Israel Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said.

“After his arrest, a mob of about 1,500 residents began a disturbance, throwing fire bombs and stones, endangering the lives of force members, who responded with riot dispersal means."

"We do not know of any fatalities on the other side," she added. "We know of three injured who were taken to a (Palestinian) hospital but we do not know of danger to their lives."

She said that three border policeman were lightly injured by rocks.

The White House is CLOSED to America's citizens: no more educational trips by our school children, citizens and tourists, even though most of the "tours" were conducted by volunteers.  Why?  According to Obama, due to "$85 billion in automatic budget cuts.

Of course, the sequester did not prevent the President and his family from canceling their planned vacations to Africa, or Martha's Vineyard; nor did Obama think twice about his weekend trips to the golf course, all paid for by America's taxpayers.  How much did just his eight day trip to Africa cost the taxpayers? Ready?  $60-100 million.
As the Obamas' waved goodbye to America, Americans waved goodbye to approximately ONE HUNDRED MILLION of their money to support this pompous, pretentious, trip, under the guise of "it will be good for America's economy".  Ha, have I got a bridge to sell you, if you can believe that old, tired excuse!  Good for who's economy?  Here's one example of how his trip boosted Africa's economy: Barack Obama pledges energy cash to light up Africa’s darkness.

It appears Obama can light up the world, while leaving America in darkness.

And now, low and behold, we hear that another festering weakness in America's economy can be attributed to his slush fund to the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, to the tune of over $850,000.  Does anyone in the United States hear Obama saying those words from another era, "Let them eat cake"?!

Now, why am I fixated on the closing of the White House?  Because it is "we the people's" house; not Obama's personal home - it is America's home.  And, the un-American president, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, has supported terrorist organizations, such as the Brotherhood; apologized for America to the Islamic world; wined and dined Muslim Brotherhood members inside the White House; ignores the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights; has more scandals in Washington than Planter's has peanuts and now, add Egypt's latest revelations to Obama's corrupt legacy.  

How much longer must these United States endure this illegitimate leadership, before Congress takes action and does the right thing for the sake of our nation?

While you ponder that question, would you do one thing for America - open up the darn WHITE HOUSE!!

Being a Muslim Brotherhood leader is apparently a nice job, if you can get it. Apparently, according to Walid Shoebat, there are some very nice fringe benefits.

Egypt’s Attorney General Hisham Barakat is looking into evidence that arrested Muslim Brotherhood leaders accepted bribes from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, according to a report from Almesryoon, an Egyptian newspaper that cites a “judicial source”.

The strength of these allegations is seemingly bolstered by another case alluded to by the newspaper in which a document is referenced. This document reportedly reveals monthly “gifts” being paid to Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Egypt by the Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Mursi government. These monthly payments were said to be denominated in U.S. dollars to each leader.

The names listed on the Qatar document match several names mentioned in the Almesryoon article, including Mohamed Beltagy, listed as the last name in the Qatari document as being paid an annual “gift”/bribe of $850,000 annually in U.S. dollars.

The document above lists “gifts” which amount to bribes being paid to the Mursi government members in annual payments of between $750,000 and $850,000 in U.S. dollars each. The sums amount to tens of millions of dollars in bribes.

Chump change by Obama Inc. standards. Too bad the Muslim Brotherhood didn’t think of opening its own Green Energy company. Then it could have scored some serious DOE loans.

For those who do not remember, during Obama's campaigns, one of his campaign headquarter's hung an American Flag with Obama's face on it:

Veterans gathered Tuesday afternoon to protest in front of the Lake County Democratic Party headquarters, where the flag -- featuring Obama's face in the blue section where the stars normally go -- was flying beneath a traditional American flag. The confrontation ended after party chairwoman Nancy Hurlbert took the flag down, according to the Sentinel."

at that time, the Democratic "Chair" who at first refused to take down the despicable flag responded:

 "We're proud of our president and we didn't realize it was in violation," Hurlbert said. "I am the chair and I take responsibility for this."Hurlbert told the newspaper it was the first time anyone had complained about the flag, which she said was given as a gift and had flown for several months without any issue."

Ignorance is bliss in the Democratic Party!

President Obama cannot be blamed for what his "party" does out of his sight, but there is a growing trend within his "party" that does not go unnoticed to American patriots.  The ignorance of defacing the American flag is just one of many examples that are corrupting the nature and character of the United States.  There are videos recorded of America's children singing and praying "To Obama"; and who can forget the last Democratic Convention? - watch video:

Published on Sep 5, 2012To demonstrate their reverence for Big Government as a replacement for the American Founding Principles of "God-Given" Rights, the 2012 Democratic Platform was intentionally scrubbed of all mention of the word "God". The Moral Outrage from the American People shocked these godless statists into scrambling to re-write their platform to give the appearance that Religious Principles are suddenly important to them again. In order to amend their platform, however, they required a two-thirds majority vote from the Delegates present. But the soulless idealouges in attendance did not get the message that the lack of respect for Religious Principles needed to be reversed, for appearance sake at least. So when the Voice Vote was taken, it is clearly audible that they are not getting the necessary two-thirds majority to amend their statist ideals. After repeated votes, and multiple attempts to hint to the moronic horde that they are supposed to vote "yea", the motion is finally "passed" despite obviously not having the required two-thirds approval. The irony of the Democrats' displaying "Voter Fraud" deciding a moral issue AT THEIR OWN CONVENTION is almost funny, if it were not so blatantly and clumsily deceptive. The video of the crowd loudly booing the reinstatement of the word "God" into their platform is a stark look into the Soul of today's Democratic Party. Yea, Big Government, BOO God.

 Ah, but there was more to it than just booing "God" during that convention:

"Democrats have changed their convention platform to add a mention of God and declare that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

He called for a vote three times before ruling.
The party reinstated language from the 2008 platform that said "we need a government that stands up for the hopes, values and interests of working people and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential."
The platform also now includes what advisers said was Obama's personal views on Jerusalem."

If I were an Israeli leader, I would remind the Obama administration of the fact that his "Party", representing his own "personal views on Jerusalem" were voted on in 2012 and therefore, Jerusalem is no longer up for "discussions" during the so-called "peace" talks with the "Palestinians".  So, when is the United States going to move their Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem?

It is obvious from watching this Administration these past five years, that what they say and what they actually do are two distinct and different matters; hold their feet to the fire and remind them of their "votes" and "promises" to the American people and its allies.

Now, back to the desecration of the American flag.  Here is a poem posted to the article below that is the best of the best in the meaning of the American flag:

MLK Event Attendees Wave American Flags - Desecrated With Barack Obama's Face

At an event in Washington D.C. Saturday commemorating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic “I have a dream” speech, attendees waved American Flags. Desecrated. With Barack Obama’s face.

Irrespective of the fact that desecration of the American flag is illegal – “Whoever knowingly mutilates, defaces, physically defiles, burns, maintains on the floor or ground, or tramples upon any flag of the United States shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both” – what exactly has Barack Obama accomplished that warrants his face being placed on the Star Spangled Banner? The cult of Obama is alive and well.

Hugo Chavez would be proud of Comrade Obama indeed.
